In my basket of non bank ,lifecos I have small positions in AI, CHW,FC,FN,FSZ and TF. I have been happy with all of them -would you drop any(which in order if so) in favour or MIC or CBL or be happy with what I have

Q: Are you still happy with T? I have held it since August 14, 2014. Since then it has increased by 24.5%, according to StockCharts Perf Chart, while RCI/B has increased 34.4% and BCE by 32.4%. Do you recommend a switch at this point? Can you explain why or why not?

Q: Hello 5I Team
I own Maw150 and Maw106 in my RRSP as part of my portfolio, Maw105 i did very good this Year but Maw150 i had a negative return .My question is do you thing the Maw150 will rebound this year and have a better return and do you think Maw106 which is the Canadian Equity will continue to do well or have a softer year in returns ?

Q: I have just discovered a valuation metric NCAV -Current Assets minus Total Debt...which to me is a significant moat for a Company...if positive. Surprisingly when I look at the Companies I follow, most have a positive NCAV. I assume a high growth Company with positive NCAV would be a good investment...a negative NCAV bad. Can you comment on the pros & cons of this metric.

Q: Thanks for ENGH,GUD & PHO. Re CRH,please comment on 1)Why was there a big drop to $7.01 on Nov 28(Monday on big vol. of 2.12m) from $8.36 on Nov 25(Friday)? 2)Thomson/Reuters & CIBC reported that it missed estimated EPS 4 out of the last 6 periods & 5/6 respectively.Already own GUD,the only stock in the sector & thinking of adding CRH.Always appreciate u usual great services & views.All the Best for 2017

Q: Happy New Year to everyone, lets hope for a profitable 2017.
I have chosen a 15% weighting for my IT stocks. I own 4% of CSU, 3.7% of ENGH, 2.2% of MDA and 3% in OTEX-N. I'm underweight but unsure which stock to add to. I always appreciate your advice, thank you for all you do.

Q: Ryan,
I appreciated your recent blog post about the rebalancing trade potential for health care. Given there is so little to choose from in Canada would it be wise to look to US listed companies who have suffered as well. If so would it be better to go the etf route or do you have any company specific recommendations. Thanks again for your great service.
