Q: Hi again 5i. I'm adding a$5K position in PSK would you do the same for these others or 2 of the 3. term would be minimum 24 months.

Q: What do you think of the bought deal? I am underwater 80 percent having bought 1,000 shares at its high. Would you buy more into this bought deal or just hang on for an eventual recovery. I feel it will take a long time to recoup 20 grand --worth the wait??

Q: My understanding is that there will not be any withholding tax (for US equities with dividends as an example) in an RRSP. Would this also apply to an RESP?

Q: This is a company that is not discussed often. It appears to have a reasonable balance sheet and has raised its dividend for 27 straight years. It does operate in a cyclical industry but it has seemed to manage this well, in part, I would think, because of its used equipment and repair operations. Is this a company you would recommend?

Also, refrigeration is a part of its operations. How does that unit fit in with its heavy equipment franchise? Are there resulting synergies, is it a different customer base, thereby offering diversification or are they the same customers and therefore there are reduced sales and marketing costs?

Q: Hi,
I'm thinking of adding NFI to my portfolio , but don't want to hold too many stocks. If you had to drop one of the following industrial stocks (these are all the industrials i own) to replace it, which would it be?
MDA, WSP, STN, or XTC? Or would you not replace any of these stocks ?

Q: Hello,
I have kept averaging down on this and currently have big losses. Yesterday, a BNN guest said that this is a non investable company.

Should I just sell and bank the loses? It's a registered account so can't even claim losses, keep average down? Hold my nose for a year or so? Can it go belly up?

Q: Another brutal day for Linamar on the markets. On 6/28 you advised it was looking "interesting". Does it look even more interesting today? I have a minor position taken about 90 days ago and I hate to catch a falling knife but my hands are already bloody...think its wise to expose even more skin?

Q: I am surprised that there has not been a question about the 15%+ slide by Magna shares in the last 10 days. So here goes! In your view, is this slide solely due to the flight to safety post Brexit or are there other factors in MG being hit particularly hard in this period?

Q: I presently do not have any investments in US stock and am strongly considering changing that. I am currently watching the following US stocks and would appreciate your opinion on my selection..Apple, GE, Gilead, Wells fargo, Walt Disney,Honeywell and Canadian Solar. How would you rank them and are there other US stock that you would suggest I consider. Are there any in my list that you would not recommend. My investment goals are probably typical. I am looking for dividend income and growth over a 2/3 year period.

I watch BNN news on the regular. I have been noticing that the general market overview appears to be pessimistic for the approaching years. Many of the BNN guest are talking about a recession soon and a probable housing bust. What are your thoughts?
