Q: Hi Team,
I am planning on making a 2021 rsp contribution and looking for your top 3 US growth picks today. ( I was leaning towards PINS). That being said, do you think now is a good time to do this into the tech weakness? I may contribute in 2 different contributions at different times. Or do you foresee this pullback lasting quite a bit longer yet? I realize timing the market is just a guess, but you did a good job in predicting the low last year when your write up suggested we start buying after the huge virus sell off. Thanks for that!
Q: I thought I had asked this question but don't see a reply. What is the nature of BITW and why does its price action not seem to correlate with bitcoin prices/ Thank you
Q: Good morning - I am looking to increase my Industrial sector holdings and currently have positions in LMT, ATS, AC and TFII. Are there sector companies ( canadian or otherwise) that you consider to be underappreciated at this time or other companies that you would recommend? Or, am I better to add to my current holdings?
Q: In terms of geographical allocation, I'm very deficient on International exposure. What do you suggest that I hold in a RRSP account, in terms of ETF to plug this hole?
Q: Vision Marine Technologies (vmar-q), a Montreal company is on Nasdaq since last November. It is the first maker of electric boats on the exchange. While production has been slowed down by the pandemic , it has been developing electric motors to power boats at 100km/h. Could it enjoy the success of other recreational vehicles such as BRP Inc. (doo-t) ?
Grateful for your views.

Q: I want to invest a percentage in the S&P. Can you tell me the best way (vehicle) to do this and what percentage of a portfolio is reasonable (understanding it’s a opinion). 20 year investment horizon.
Q: Hi-5i,
Could you please tell me why the 10-year Bond yields are increasing? I understand the inverse relationship to the actual value of the bond, so I guess I should be asking why are 10-year bond prices decreasing? Are the holders selling? Are governments simply not buying them?
Thank you.
Q: Adobe is down over 100$-approx 20%... since the late summer/fall.Is there any fundamental reasons to account for this slide .Are you bullish still on its future?
For telecom exposure, which would you recommend today and why? I am a 58 year old investor trying to move my portfolio more toward income generation, but already have a position in AT&T.
Q: In one of your recent replies you said that “while the declines are big, we are not so sure we are at capitulation just yet.” I remember similar comments in early 2020. Recognizing it’s tough to predict a bottom, what signs do you look for that suggest we are at or very near the point of capitulation? I believe quick reversals is one, but are there others?
Q: I am interested in adding to my gold stocks, where I currently hold KL and PGM. Are there any companies that may look similar to KL five years ago?
Thanks
Q: I purchased Docusign last year and until very recently it seemed like a great choice. It’s sharp decline that began in late February has been significantly steeper than the tech sell-off in general. The shares are now right about where I paid for them and a hair away from succumbing to the old adage “never let a gain turn into a loss”. The steep sell-off has me worried that it is a precursor to the street expecting disappointing earnings when they report this Thursday. I know what the consensus forecast is, but what does 5i’s crystal ball predict for their upcoming Q4 earnings and the market reaction?
