Q: Just a comment - thanks! Most of my questions have usually been about when something for me has gone wrong…well this one seems to be working. Honestly, if it weren’t for your positive comments, not only may I never have bought it but I would’ve sold as soon as I had a small profit. The same is true for nvda - another awesome name that you’ve stuck with for years even when things looked downright gloomy! Thanks be to 5i.

Q: What AI stock (s) would you consider investing in at this time Which one would be your number 1 pick ?.
Q: Hi Team,
I hold NVDA and SHOP with some great gains after buying the dip in the fall of 2022 (thanks to 5i!) . My question I suppose is more of a broad market question. I went through the rise of tech in the 2020/21 blistering rally, and also held through the subsequent gut-wrenching fall. Luckily for the most part I held on to most names and am now riding high with my tech heavy portfolio. Are we flying too close to the sun again so to speak with some of these names again? Should I be selling some of the higher flyers such as NVDA? Or should I just ride it out? I have trimmed some NVDA a while back and re-allocated it into BN for some more diversification. After watching my portfolio crumble in 2022 I just don't feel like going through that again (if we feel that the tech sector is overvalued). If valuations are justified; however, I am willing to keep holding. I won't be retiring for another 10-15yrs... unless I really have some massive winners that is! Just looking for an opinion here.
Thanks,
Shane.

Q: I have very small positions in both of these stocks. I am wondering about consolidating them into just one. In your opinion, which would be the best one to hold over the next three years?
Q: Last year, Nuvei acquired Paya for $1.3 B. After a year, could you tell if it was a good transaction. Was it the right decision by the management at that time?
Thanks

Q: I currently have BBU, BBUC, BN, CRWD, LSPD, MSFT and U in my TFSA account. BN, CRWD and MSFT have shown good growth but I have losses in the other stocks. I will be investing $7000 in my TFSA for 2024. Would you suggest any changes to my current stock holdings? For my 2024 TFSA investment, would you suggest adding to one on my current stock holdings or investing in another stock such as LMN, AMZN or LMN? Thank you

Q: Dear 5i
Are smci and vrt different enough to own both in a TFSA ?
Also i was thinking of buying NVDA for one TFSA and AMD for the other TFSA as a way of not betting just on one or the other . Would you agree with this line of thinking or not ?
Thanks

Q: Why is so bad for the private offering? They will pay down the debentures which will mature in three weeks, and the new ones will mature in 2029.
Thank you!

BMO Covered Call Technology ETF (ZWT $55.44)
Q: Further to previous questions, I have ZWT as a Tech ETF, and has done well, but things like SMCIs pop last week would have definitely not been fully realized. Is there a solid Canadian listed Tech ETF for putting in my TFSA? I would like to avoid tax things if it pays a dividend. US listed options as well, preferably with negligible dividends.
Can you suggest a few options for each market, with low fees and a good management team? and maybe a specialized Data center ETF?
Thanks
James

Q: I own CSU at a 7.25% weight and also TOI and LMN around 5%. All have quite nice returns but do you feel CSU profitability could slow enough from the law of large numbers to trim a bit and reallocate to the offsprings? Thanks!
Q: Good day guys ,

Q: Dear 5i,
I own CSU (10%), LMN (2.5%) and SHOP (4%) in my TFSA.Is it a good idea for me to increase LMN to 5% and SHOP to 6% to increase weight in the technical sector? Is it better to start a new position(s) such as KXS, DSG, or TOI? This is a small diversified TFSA, and protecting the portfolio with some growth is the main goal.
Thank you.

Q: Payfare seems to have carved out a nice little niche for itself though revenue looks like it is concentrated in several major customers. How susceptible is their business model to competition?
Thanks, Hugh

Q: Good Day,
I picked up CALF and HPS.A based on your last answer to my questions. CALF was EXACTLY what I was looking for in that space. HPS.A looks really intriguing, and despite the constant highs on highs providing a bit of apprehension, I think I'll look back later and be happy. Thanks.
Through looking in to NXT as an option, came across FLEX, which it was spun out from, as well as TOI (and CSU by proxy) when looking at LMN.
Would FLEX or NXT have a better future outlook and why? What would you rank the risk and growth potential for each? Are there any other companies like FLEX that you would recommend? Also, the Share price estimate for FLEX is showing a high of 35, which is significantly higher than current. are those pre-NXT spinoff estimates?
For LMN and TOI, same questions.

Q: Mitek has been dealing with the non-compliant issue and now has another hearing on March 19th. the company has prospects, but is this enough of an issue to keep it as a hold at the moment. Want to add to the position.

Q: In answer to a question regarding the noted company you suggest the PE is still just 22 times even after the almost 35% increase on Friday. In the same answer you suggest 2023 earnings could be as high is $5.50 and 2024 earnings are projected to increase by 70%. Can you explain further please how you get a PE of 22? Thank you so much since I feel like I missed this one but if PE is that low perhaps not. John
Q: Hi, Any thoughts on Topicus stock, breaking out of $98-99 level, to a high of $107, with 8% jump in past 2 trading days, on reasonable volume ? Do you believe that stock is getting re-rated along with CSU/LMN family. Both CSU and LMN are trading at all time highs. TOI's 52 week high was $110, June 29, 2023 with All Time High of $142 on Nov 3, 2021. Thank You
