Q: I own Canadian Utilities and Atco Class 1 shares and they have appreciated nicely over time. How would you rate their prospects for growth in share price for the next 5 years?

With today's economic climate with the US, and the Canadian government's stated intention to push for big Canadian infrastructure projects, would one of these companies be a stronger bet?

Do you see the current dividend level as being safe for both companies going forward?

And, is there a good reason to own both of these stocks, given that CU is a sub of Atco?

Thank you for you insight and have a great day!

Q: There appears to be something wrong with the Market Cap amount on your report. TMX is saying there are 50M Total shares(All Classes) and 493M (Issued and outstanding shares). Quote Media is saying the are 493M shares. The 50M number multiplied by the Latest price gets the market cap on 5i and Quote Media of 383M. The 493M number multiplied by the latest price gets about $3.8B market cap which is shown on TD Cowen and Yahoo. Both numbers are shown on TMX. It would seem there is an error in the Total Shares at one of the data sources? I just noticed by chance as I use MC as a screening criteria and the 383M number didn't feel correct.

Q: Hypothetically speaking if Russia and Ukraine came to a peace agreement would the price of oil take a drop and Canadian oil and gas companies take the same drop.

Q: Hi 5i,

I've noticed a massive divergence in the price of oil and oil companies. Can I please have your analysis of this, and what are your favorite stocks in this sector for a long term position. I'm also looking for shareholder friendly, low debt play.

Thx.

Q: Nuttall seems to strongly favour natural gaz stocks over oil for various reasons (AI,LNG etc..) but climate is a factor of volatility. What is your view about oil vs natural gaz stocks as investor and for the upcoming years ?

Q: Hi, I don’t think I worded my recent question about the energy/mining sector very well. I was looking for some ancillary type company suggestions, like the company that supplies the sand for fracking or provides well services or repairs or leases the mining equipment or is going to build the roads to remote mines…that kind of thing. I guess anything that might be on your radar or comes to mind as an opportunity in that space broadly.

Q: The way things look right now, it is difficult to see how energy and materials (mining) won’t play a major role in keeping Canada afloat. It seems we have things the world needs/wants if we can get over our distaste for being prosperous. I’m wondering if you can suggest some “pick and shovel” plays in the space generally?
