Q: Anything in particular going on at OR (down almost 10% in a week or so), or is it general precious metals out of favour? I see a random review of gold mines also down similarly?
Q: Hi Peter and team,
Firstly I would like to congratulate Peter on his very informative and touching article about his father-in -law Ron in this last Saturday Ottawa citizen...my father had similar experiences ,lived through the Depression and would have been 100 years old this coming October. The young would be "investors" would be wise to learn from such articles.
What would be a reliable BUY signal for gold after this week's debacle?
many thanks ,
Jean
Q: Peter and crew; I am underwater on MP materials and not afraid to take a loss and move on but don’t wish to leave a company that has reasonable recovery potential. I would appreciate your thoughts and if moving on is the way to go, do you have one or two suggestions for a medium risk portfolio?
PS, I enjoy your contributions in National Post.
Q: I apologize for, once again, asking you to step outside your perceived comfort zone; however, can you tell me why such an apparent outperformer such as Grupo Mexico should be so conservatively priced in such a positive time for its main product, copper?
Q: What are your thoughts on Yamana Gold. Just wondering if you have other gold companies that you prefer in this sector for gold exposure. I am looking for growth so willing to take some risk when it comes to this portion of my portfolio.
Kl recently invested money in ORX and MIS, yet both have performed poorly since then and both hit new yrly lows recently. What is you view on both of these companies.
KL continues to do everything right, no debt, close to 1 billion in cash, buying back shares, its cheap, excellent management...but the stock is down 37% the last year and has been on a downward trend all year. Is it heavily shorted or something else is wrong ?
Thanks, George
