Q: Hello it seems in-room dining will not be coming back for awhile.
I'm thinking The Keg would be one of the better Canadian restaurant investments. They should do better in restoring customer traffic as:
1. they already have more spacing between tables so they can maintain the same customer capacity/hour
2. Consistent quality of food and ambiance that is not as easy or convenient to recreate at home.
3. They already have great staff training when it comes to allergy awareness - this means it will be a better experience in training staff for Covid19 protocols
4. The people who go to The Keg tend to be more middle-upper income who are not affected as much by the shutdown.
5. If food ingredient prices increase, their margins may not be affected as much as ingredient expense is a smaller % of their overall expenses.
6. Landlords view them as a quality 'draw tenant' and so hopefully will work with them to maintain occupancy

What do you think? Is the distribution safe or if cut, would it be restored faster?

Q: Any reason, with the market up solidly, GSY is selling off?
Any downgrades that we should note?

Q: I was disappointed in your answer to Andrew on June 30th regarding GIL. I too bought GIL based on your rating and recommendation (B+). I subscribe to 5i to help simplify my investment decisions, and do not expect to have to look for other subtle clues such as portfolio weight etc to assess how you actually feel about a stock. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect clarity, and timely updates of prior ratings if sentiment changes.

I bought around the same time as your recommendation ($49.33). At the current price of ~$20.50, would you be reviewing this holding or are you still quite comfortable until the world returns to normal. When is the next quarter?

Q: hello 5i Research team, PHO: 3 of the 5 board members only got 75% or 76% of « vote for » at the annual meeting. This is quite unusual. Could you identify some potential significant investors that would have voted against? Are awhere of anything about those persons that would explain this? Should I worry, especially with a new president? Can we expect some divergence of opinion between management and shareholders that could cause some change in the organization? just wondering in your opinion why the did street dislike today's earning release? revenue missed but is the sell off justified? i see in the previous question the company has been buying back shares, but that seemed to have little effect in the price movements for the stock lately.
lastly, would you be fine starting a 1-2% position for a long term hold today?

Q: What will the likely effect of PBH's recently announced share offering be on the share price?

Q: In the short term, what are the biggest risks? COVID risks, an increase in cases to restrict SMB transactions; Offering price at $37.30, can the price cross the secondary offering price without an increase in selling volume; August quarterly report, that reflects the SMB reduced transactions due to shut in businesses; or the price ceiling at $35.00, that the price can’t get across?
