Q: Hello, I am a young retiree in my sixties I have a portfolio focused on growth while promoting dividends. I would like to add to the titles mentioned so that they reach 5% of the portfolio. Could you place them in order of preference according to these criteria with a horizon of 3 to 5 years. Feel free to suggest reducing or eliminate any of them to free some cash to add to others. Thank you

Q: More of a comment than a question, but I would appreciate your view. The knock on the old MDA was that revenues were "lumpy" and margins low. Looking at the most recent financials, that still seems to be the case for the satellite business, which generates EBITDA margin of only12% if I read things correctly. Conversely, the newly-acquired Digital Globe imaging business has an EBITDA margin over 60% and happily this is the part of the business that is forecast to grow. This can make up for the weakness of the legacy business, which I presume they will not get rid of because of a desire to offer integrated "space" services. But it stuns me that the satellite business runs on what must be a less than break-even basis. I have a now slighly underwater half position and plan to stick with it.

Q: Thank you in advance for your enlightened advice. Which seem to you the best investments. I am looking for a dividend in a non-registered account as well as growth for a term of 2 to 3 years. The weighting of my interest is 30% towards the dividend and 70% towards the growth. The companies I am looking at are:
AFN, BNS, CM, BIP.UN, CHR, ENB, EIF, FRU, MAXR, SMU.UN
Could you rank them in terms of preference and write down the ones you would avoid. Sector weighting is not a criteria.

thank you very much
