Q: My daughter is opening up an resp for her three month old son. She will initially be putting $10,000 in. What are three ETF's that would be suitable. She is looking for some growth and little risk.

Q: Hi group are BYD.UN and CSU both showing some weakness due to falling US dollar ( I think ?) - (please do not tell me how much they are up on the year- I already know that) . My question is it a good time to add or wait until the US dollar stops dropping. Do you have an opinion on US dollar weakness going fwd. Thanks

Q: Interested in selling puts. Have taken your advice in past on selecting companies with low debt, dividend, short term weakness, long term positives. Any specific companies to recommend now? I am aware and comfortable with the requirement for some volatility to provide reasonable premiums.

Q: Good morning 5i,
I currently have no basic materials in portfolio having sold MX to crystallize a tax loss. Analytics suggests 4%. We are currently trying to become less aggressive because of stage in life. Thinking 2% XGD (comments please) and open to suggestions for another candidate. Thanks for your help. Ted

Q: Good afternoon - Our collective family portfolio ( wife and I, retired) is roughly 40% fixed income comprised solely of GICs and Pref Shares. Our pref shares are with solid companies but given the lack of appetite for PShares the total value has been slowly deteriorating. This is something you have commented on in recent months and I’m wondering if and when we should bail and if we do, where then do we invest the proceed? Thanks
