Q: Hi,
What do you think of VIC 200? What makes it different from an ETF and would you recommend it for someone looking for lo-volatility broad market exposure? is there a better alternative?

Q: Any comments on the Indian market, or lack thereof? Is it a good investment going forward? It looks like the biggest ADRs there are the banks. Their economy looks to have good long term prospects.

Q: Our current Federal government seems to think oil pipelines are the answer to preserving Canadian independence, however as Adam Posen of the Peterson Institute points out, Canada has no internet pipes that don't run through the U.S., its satellites, or cables. Which of course means we have no access to the internet without U.S. permission. What Canadian companies would benefit if the government decided to invest in a Canadian owned and operated internet?
Q: Their latest acquisition seemed to be a good move into the drone data recovery space and with their latest earnings growth and strong business model (eg. getting paid their subscriptions for the gov't upfront to provide upfront cash) and growing focus on non-government areas (eg. military or private sector w/ the Corellium acquisition) what am I missing with this company? Why are investors staying away and creating such volatility when results are good.

Q: As a part of the Constellation Software (VMS Ventures) portfolio, is Raia AI looking primarily to build a standalone platform for external customers, or is its main goal to act as the internal 'AI engine' that automates operations for all of Constellation’s 1,000+ niche software companies?

Q: Hi,
TS has sent out a notice of a class action settlement of 11 million, less around 3 million in legal fees, etc. You need to have invested in the shares between Mar 7, 2019 and Nov 3, 2021 and put in your claim by Mar 4th, 2026. I'm aware that often these claims are reduced to small amounts per client once all the dust settles, so I'm wondering if you've any idea how many potential claims could be expected based on the volume of shares sold at the time? Ditto for SNAP, which covers share holders from Feb 5, 2021 to Oct 21, 2021 who can claim by May 6, 2026. Any thoughts on either tickers are most welcome! Thank you for always having the answers we seek!

Q: Hello 5i Team
I own European Residential REIT in a taxable account.
The REIT has previously announced it will sell all its remaining properties and essentially close down operations and delist from the public markets.
Current price is approximately $1.14 and the net asset value as of December 31, 2025 is approximately $1.44 (as per financial statements released).
How does this process occur? Do they essentially liquidate their portfolio, pay taxes and distribute the proceeds to unit holders (say $1.40 per unit to account for taxes and closing costs) and the trading price of the units goes to zero. This would result in a "capital loss" on the units and some form of taxable distribution (mix of capital gains, income and or return of capital).
Or does a private buyer make a take-over offer of say $1.35, take the units private and then internally deal with the closing down of operations.
Has there been other examples of companies / reits closing down operations?
Is this a potential arbitrage opportunity?
Thanks

Q: Why is there a need for an "investigation" into Galaxy? Simply for missing its estimates? And yet that seems to be what everyone is pointing at. How can one be held to account for predicting what is almost inevitably unpredictable when the market goes wonky? I don't see that GLXY has done anything wrong, but what do I know?
If you have posted an answer directly about this question, please point me to it, as I've failed to find it. Thanks, as always.
