Vanguard Global Dividend Fund Series F (VIC200 $16.60)
Q: Hi,
What do you think of VIC 200? What makes it different from an ETF and would you recommend it for someone looking for lo-volatility broad market exposure? is there a better alternative?

5i Research Answer:
VIC 200 is a global dividend mutual fund. The structure is technically a bit different from an ETF but costs are competitive and we wouldn't be too concerned on the structure in this case. It does have an equity focus still so it will not be immune from a market drawdown but the dividend focus will tilt things to more mature and stable companies overall. We think VIC200 is fine. CYH might be another ETF to consider.
