Q: Would appreciate it very much ranking the above based on your expectation of total return over 3 to 5 years period. I wish to consolidate these number into less positions. In particular I am thinking of selling FCR at a loss and perhaps add to GRT.un or one of the others,

Thanks

Q: I am planning to take some losses as offsets to capital gains from previous years. In some cases, I am considering replacements as well. Please advise of any concerns with, or suggest alternatives to, the following sale (purchase) plan.

Sell HWO, PSI & IPL (buy PPL and AQN - already own ENB, ALA & KEY)

Sell SU & CJ (buy CNQ and PXT - already own ARX). I also have a sizeable loss on VET, but consider that is presently so far below comparables, that I should wait for some recovery or sell now and move on?

Sell HR.UN (buy another REIT, possibly TCN.UN and/or ERE.UN - already own IIP.UN & NWH.UN).

Sell CHR.

Thanks - Don

Q: In the company profile, ERE is noted as being "unincorporated". I am curious if that is significant; for example are their reporting/accounting held to less rigorous scrutiny compared to an "incorporated" company? Also ERE has a +9% dividend but is a new kid on the block - less than a year. The high dividend was there from start. Is this a sign management over reaching - like trying too hard to be noticed? Can ERE maintain it? What is their payout ratio. I have no European exposure, but thinking a small position here is doable.....Thanks, and all the best in 2019....Lionel
