Q: I've done well with LLY. Is it time to move to something like Intuitive? I also own Stryker. Is there another name you'd favour?

Q: The recent NPI quarter looks pretty weak, decreased revenues from last year. I’m thinking to take a loss and possibly add to other positions, or would you recommend to repurchase after the 30 days? I read the March report, but I see better opportunities in other names. The growth story for 2025 is only the Oneida Energy Storage Project completion? How much will this add to revenues? I’m also concerned the allure around renewables and the climate change narrative is crumbling, especially after the Europe outages. Any thoughts on this?

My add to names I’m considering are PPL, CPX, PEY, WCP. How would you rank those for growth, stability, current and future yield?

Q: Just following up on a question today regarding selling a stock in a non-registered account and buying it back in an RRSP or TFSA. I understand the superficial loss rules, but how would the CRA track a purchase in an RRSP if one’s RRSP trading records are not sent to them by one’s broker? My understanding from personal experience is that only non-registered account information is forwarded to the CRA.

Q: Half of my equities EPS growth from 2022 to 2024 is negative (ATD, LNF, QSR, PPL, SU, BNS). I did not include projected growth for 2025, 2026, 2027 as this seems excessively optimistic. Should I include at least 2025? Should I be worried? Most of them are doing well in spite of this. Any suggestions aside from hold tight and do nothing? These are all blue chip. 79 year old income, dividend value investor.
