Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
RET. is going to buy back shares at a price significantly higher than current market. Please tell me all the reasons it would do this. Of course the obvious is that it for the moment increases value for loyal share holders who are seriously under water. However I wonder about the long term. Your thoughts please. Thanks!

Q: In your portfolio analysis you have recommended for the utilities sector that I purchase either ZUT or XUT.
I own Fortis now.Do you recommend that I sell this now and purchase 100% ETFs for the suggested Utilities sector?
Since I also need additional US investments.which of the following US ETFs would you recommend RYU or XLU?
Thanks again for your guidance.

Q: I am wondering how to classify a stock as growth vs income. In some cases it is obvious. A stock paying no dividend is surely growth (eg TOY PHO BTO ELD). And a stock that is stable, large, and has a solid dividend (3-7%) is surely income (eg ET BCE ENB BNS GWO). Please correct me if this is wrong. But in many cases, it could be either (eg SIS SAP PBH ATB.B FM TECK.B UNH:US).

Could you please tell me how you determine how to classify them?

Thank you,

Fed

Q: Hi Team, I'm doing some portfolio clean up and am looking to sell some losers...of the stocks listed, which ones would you sell first in order first to last. Also, could you give me recommendations for where to put the money back to work for the top 3 sells?

Q: I got into this a short time ago (over a couple of years ago) around this level it bounced around a bit and ran up over $100. I considered selling or trimming but it didn't get to the % I had in mind. I held due to the increasing dividend and stock buy backs. With the benefit of hindsight it has got me wondering if this is a stock that is more of a trading stock or is it something that is suitable to hold for long period of time. My portfolio target is to achieve 7%+ rate of return over my life.
