Q: I am interested in adding more international exposure. Over time, in a haphazard fashion I developed portfolio weights of 4% in ZEM, 2.5% in MAW150; and 1.5% in DXG. To my untrained eye they offer diversity, for growth & stability, to different markets, etc What is your view of these 3 holdings? Would you add to each? Delete any? Due to political risks from trade tensions etc, I am inclined to avoid too much of an exposure to China. Thank you for your excellent service.

Q: Would appreciate recommendation on Canadian mutual fund(s) for international (ex NA) exposure, pay a DRIPable dividend and allow couple hundred dollars of monthly contribution without charge?

Q: I have held CVS for approx. 6 months and virtually it is flat. There have been many recommendations from the street however I have 22,000.00 which seems to be dead money. Should I sell and buy some tech stock like Oracle or Taiwan semiconductor. Do you have a suggestion other than these 2?

Q: Hi guys.

What are your thoughts on North West Company's earnings, today?
They beat earnings but announced the CEO is leaving. They also announced "earnings in 2021 will be meaningfully above pre-Pandemic (2019) levels but likely below 2020". I think this was already baked into the bake as consensus 2021 eps estimates is 20% lower than 2020.

Q: I have owned BBY for a few years now and it has done reasonably well. Curious on your long term view for the company and if you would continue to hold or switch to another name with a similar dividend. Currently have a position in Costco, HD, AMZN, PBH, ATD.B and MG for consumer names.

Q: Hi. I have held Fiera Capital for a number of years now. I note that you have considered this to be a dividend growth company in a response to Herbert on 06 Apr. My records show there has not been a dividend increase (.21 a share quarterly) since 19 June 2019. Am I missing something? Are you anticipating company growth and therefore dividend growth?

Q: How will the Iron Ore Company ("IOC") fire at reclaimer no. 2 at IOC's port facilities affect profits going forward for LIF ? Are there other economic head winds that could affect profitability? Q: I made the mistake of buying 200 shares of Ballard @$46.50 a couple of months ago just before it commenced its early-February fall from an all-time high. At the current price (~$30), I am tempted to double down with another 200 shares to bring my avg share price cost to ~$38, representing about 4% of my portfolio, a level with which I am comfortable. Am I nuts, or is BLDP poised to reward my faith and patience over the medium term (5 years)?

How many different people are involved?
What are their qualifications?
I ask because the answers seem to range from very specific to the kind of answer you’d expect from a politician.
When a member asks to have stocks ranked would they get different answers depending on who is answering the question?
Oh yeah and what is the purpose of the little heart next to the question?

Q: Hi
I smile at the moaning and dripping about stocks like XBC and MRS.
Bottom line high risk = high reward or goes lower.
We build our wealth on this type of investing.
Do not bet the farm on one these stocks, buy sell re buy sell. We play the same stock over and over.
Take our profits and buy boring stocks like FTS,
You need torque and this is a great way to do it.
Not every stock is a SHOP.
If we an double a penny stock, try to get that on a GIC.
I would lister to 5i before some random dude on some web site.
Just my 2 cents.

Q: Brad asked a question on April 7th about phantom distributions. It is worth checking your investment statement to ensure they increase the ACB for capital gains. I have found it is not always done and investment houses don't always understand the proper procedure.
