Q: Bought BAD a few months back as a recovery play and have done ok however recent results cause me to question the growth prospects. Should I continue to hold or sell and add to my existing positions in SIS, NFI, QSR and MG. All good recovery plays in my opinion.

Q: I am trying to maximize income In my LIRA before I convert it to a LIF. I hold a good weighting of ZEB from several years back when I was a novice investor. Now I am looking to shed the MER by going with the individual financial stocks. Would you please rank the above financials and others you think are worthy for a hold and forget steady income stream?

Q: Hello Peter,
Can you help me choose between the two for an industrial sector addition? Both are hitting 52 week highs and am wondering if I should wait to see if they revert to the mean along moving averages.

Q: Hi : I recently sold my TD shares, I do not think there is anything wrong with TD, but I noticed that some stocks like TD are above the value they had before the pandemics hit. Noticed that beta for TD is 0.86. It is hard to believe that the economy is in better shape today than before the pandemics. I see quite a number of empty stores at my local mall. BCE has a beta of 0.31 with a good yield and a low price/cash flow ratio. Would you agree that BCE is safer than TD if the market has a correction ?, I am retired and safety and income are more important than growth . I have no exposure to telecoms now, and still some small exposure to banks through BNS. If BCE is not super safe , could you suggest another one ?

In a hypothetical $1 million portfolio, approximately how many different stocks or ETFs should be owned? Would a position represent 2% of the portfolio? Any comments on a portfolio's composition would be greatly appreciated.
