Q: I currently hold a somewhat diverse 'long-term holdings' portfolio (PKI, FN, AEM, ENB, ATD.B, TD, BCE, CNQ, RY, ALA, ITP, TOY, and small DF). After topping up my TFSA and putting a bit of cash into my RSP, I'm looking to add two more names.
At first I considered adding BAM.A and TRI as they seem to be two names that keep popping up at 5i, but am hesitant primarily because that would probably put me overweight on financials, and secondly because I'm comfortable taking on some risk and I suspect BAM.A is a 'lower risk' name.
Thoughts on TRI and BAM.A, or any other names, that you think should be included in a "growth" (as opposed to income) portfolio?
Q: Wondering if some of the members here have experiences they can share about Nest Wealth at Work, as my employer is considering this for our RRSP plan?
Q: Although I prefer investing directly in stocks, our company is considering switching to Nest Wealth at Work for it's RRSP plan and it makes sense to participate.
It appears to be all Vanguard EFT's. Would 5i or possibly other members with experience, share feedback?
Thanks in advance!
Q: Protech Home Medical (ticker now PTQ) just released their YE results. With the SP up 14% and trading volume more than twice its daily average in the first two hours, the market is clearly impressed so I would appreciate your analysis. As the turnaround under new management appears to be well underway, is there a chance that you might re-visit this company?
Q: The quarterly results for CGI today struck me as positive and yet the market thought otherwise. Do you have an explanation for the sizeable drop in the share price this morning?
Q: Ray missed 5 of last 6 quarters. It has dropped from a $11 high on May 1 to current $6.43,near $5.92,the 1yr low. When it is reporting & will it miss again & what are the expected EPS & Rev.Thanks for u usual great services & views
Q: ISRG was down about 4% Friday on general concerns about spending and increased competition from J&J and Google amongst others. I’m not sure what the fuss is all about since competition is just a fact of life and to the best of my knowledge neither J&J nor Google have any experience building medical devices.
It’s reported ISRG earned $2.96 a share, missing expectations by 2-11 cents per share. However ISRG reported profit was cut by 16 cents per share due to a payment to the Intuitive Foundation. Is the foundation part of the research arm of ISRG and why a foundation? Would ISRG have exceeded expectations if they hadn’t payed money to the foundation and did the analysis’s anticipate the donation to the the foundation?
I am contemplating buying the dip a little bit or do you think I should hold off?
Thanks for you prompt response on Conmed! (I don’t count the weekend as part of the 36 hour commitment).

Q: Cheers. I’ve noticed that Lumber futures have had a nice climb since the New Year. Do your sources confirm this? If so what companies (1 or 2) would stand to profit the most from this rise?
Thanks for your assistance

Thank you.......... Paul K
Q: I have a question about 1022
With the increasing push on rail for moving oil and other commodities. Do you see a spill over effect to the other transportation modes? If so would this be a catalyst for stronger growth in TFII and the sector in general?
