Q: Hello 5i. I may just need a bit of hand holding here. I have the following stocks in a high growth portfolio. I do not need to cash anything in but do wonder if these stocks are worth holding on to? Am I missing other better opportunities? All are down from where I bought them.

Q: I thought zzz earnings were good. Same Store sales were up again. a trend that has occurred in many of the Companies past quarters. They will benefit with Sears Canada closing many of their stores. Is it a buy ? RAK

Q: Sierra Wireless reported I thought fairly good results and made an acquisition which should bear fruit in the near future, yet yesterday the stock was down in after market trading in US of over 6%. What am I missing??

Q: To paraphrase David Driscoll - don't trust adjusted earnings. Anything other than GAAP earnings is hocus pocus.

SHOP posted an adjusted loss of $1.1 million or 1 cent per share. "The...net loss widened to $14 million or 15 cents a share up from $8.4 million in the same period a year ago, but investors focus on the company's adjusted numbers." GAM Aug.2

Comments? Also what is the source of the adjustments?

Q: I hold a small amount of CXI and after about 2 years I neither up nor down and am tired of "waiting". I'm thinking of switching to GS, which I think you're warming up to with its litigation behind.
