Q: Hello Peter and team,
I am trying to mirror the Model balance equity portfolio. I have other positions(ATD.B,CCL.B,CXI,ESL,HCG,KXS,MG,PBH,SIS,SJ,SLF,WSP) as is from model portfolio, but a few positions I am holding in my portfolio which I am considering equivalent as below:
For AEM- ABX, BNS-CXR, CGX-BEP.Un, CSU-ESL(8% ),ENB-PPL, MDA-DH, PKI-IPL, SYZ-AVO, T-CJR.B
Do you see any issue with it. Are these switch equivalent. My portfolio is fairly diversified, almost in line with model balanced equity portfolio, except I have energy (including IPL&PPL) at 16%.
Thanks,
Kuldip

Q: CPD has been slowly rising since hitting $11.13 on February 25 but it is still down 20% from its 52 week high of $15.33. What are your thoughts on this ETF?
Q: What are your thoughts on MTY Food Group?
Q: It's been a year since someone asked your opinion about Mediagrif. When I look at their financial results, they seem to be a steady performer, with nice incremental growth. And yet the share price is not reflecting this. Is this share a bargain at today's prices, or am I missing something?
Q: What are your thoughts on Chipotle? Is the e-coli issue sufficiently behind them that the stock should continue to climb? Where would you think it might level out?
Thank you

Q: Is 5i planning any educational meetings/conferences in 2016/17? If so, when would the details be available? And if not, what recommendations do you have for ongoing educational opportunities for members? Thanks, as always, for your advice!
Q: Hi team, I love the new site. The ability to save to watchlist is fantastic! In my RRSP, I hold GUD, IT, PLI, WCP, SPE (.5 position) and SGY. These are part of a multi-account balanced portfolio, so my question is not so much to do with sector, but with SGY and PLI. I am down 50% on SGY and wondering if these funds are better deployed elsewhere. I am up 100% on PLI and can sell half for another position. My RRSP is a very long-term hold account. I keep an eye on things, but don't usually make any moves except to trim gains. As you can see from my list, I can handle some risk if I was to replace SGY and sell half of PLI. Am I better off to continue to stomach the 50% loss on SGY or move into something else with better growth potential? If so, what would you suggest for 2 long term growth positions? I have been watching OTC, BCE, SPB (I bought CUS on your suggestion), FSZ.

Q: This is an interesting story. Is it the old Swiss Water income trust? Would you be concerned with the concentration with MCD and QSR? This was a tactic Loblaw used with suppliers. They would encourage massive expansion which was fueled through debt and then squeeze the margins.
Q: I need a new junior miner. (trimmed CRJ back to 1%).The CEO owns 33% of this company and has developed other companies and sold to big companies before. I realize this is a spec. investment but after having crj move 800% in 2 years I like this space a lot if I can find the good one.. Any 5i intelligence is greatly appreciated.
