Q: What are your thoughts on this company? Is it a good investment in your opinion
Q: Hello Team,
TWTR stock came down 5.5% from Wednesday to Friday and is now down another 3.77% after hours following the announcement that Trump was permanently kicked out of TWTR space, an action also implemented by many other social media companies, even PINS. I know Twitter will survive without Trump but how about its stock!?
Do you think the drop is a knee-jerk reaction and the stock will recover in a short order? or do you think the stock will continue to languish not because he is gone, but because TWTR cannot monetize its millions of users looking for the latest news/events in political arena, a generally depressing space at the best of times. Trump at least had made this space a bit more lively/interesting.
I have been waiting very patiently for a vey long time on this stock to finally move and now this. I want to hold as I think the company is ready for live sport and ad revenues from it, but I wonder if this elusive goal is worth the opportunity cost.
I know you like TWTR so what would you do? I know your most likely answer is "nothing," but could you tell me if nothing really has changed and the future is bright for TWTR with or without Trump.
Thank you as always!

Q: EBAY’s current P/E seems to indicate that it’s being left behind somewhat in the perception of today’s investors. Your 2018 response that “you didn’t understand how it competed against AMZN” (to paraphrase) made a lot of sense to me. Can you comment on its current status and if, in your opinion, there are any catalysts that will energize the stock price?
Q: these warrants seem very expensive around .20 with an exercise price of 1.00 and only 11/2 years to go. Are they suggesting that the stock will be +$1.20 a year and a half from now or sooner? Thoughts ? Thanks

Q: If I sell the A shares of a company at a loss can I immediataly buy the B shares and claim the loss on the sale of the A shares? (FN.PR.A and FN.PR.B)
Q: Hello, what are your thoughts of the psilocybin therapeutics sector? Personally, I believe there should be a much better alternative available today to treating mental health issues than our current options. I've read the FDA gave 'Breakthrough Therapy Designation' to COMP360 (by Compass Pathways), and I find this very hopeful. However, as an investment for the next 1-2 years what are you thoughts of this industry and this company (or any company)? Do you see this as just another boom and bust as did the cannabis sector?
Much thx.
Much thx.
Q: Would you be comfortable buying BYD for a long-term hold at today's levels? Do you believe in it as must-own growth stock? Thanks.
*edit:. Not a must-own company, rather, a great company to own for a long-term hold as part of a diversified portfolio. Thanks.

Q: Did you ever hear anything more regarding the ZRE 1.048:1 stock issue? I just checked the "holding" status and activity on ZRE in my RBC Direct Investing account. The number of shares hasn't changed at all and I don't believe the ACB has changed either. There was a note posted by RBC that the ZRE 1.048:1 issue was taken care of effective Dec 29/20, so I thought I'd give it a week or so to see if anything showed up before calling them. Check with you first.
Thanks...Steve

Q: If the government decides to change the inclusion rate for capital gains, say to 75%, do you predict that this change will be retroactive to January 1st---- or instead be effective at the time of such an announcement ?
Q: Your answer to Peter on Jan. 6 about when to sell stocks was that if something has changed and you list a numerous amount of reasons for these changes - where would a member get this type of information in a timely manner? Stocks of mine have dropped a great deal in a short period of time. Example, AT - I found out they have applied to issue more stocks, if need be. Seems to be a lot of terminology used in these types of cases, i.e. bought deals, secondary issues, etc.. Unfortunately, by the time I find this out the stock is already down considerably. Could 5i perhaps have an area where this type of information could be retrieved on stocks that 5i follows? Thank you again for your good information.
Q: I currently have 4% of my overall portfolio in Consumer stocks (DOO and GOOS). Having a difficult time trying to talk myself into increasing my overall percentage of Consumer stocks but have noticed you were up to 20% Consumer in a recent suggested sector distribution you made. Why so high for Consumer?
thanks, John
