Q: What is your take on this company ? All reports seem to confirm the current dividend is safe. Regardless of healthcare funding, the surgical centres will continue to operate, so presumably the cash will continue to flow. Canaccord downgraded the stock but others rate it much higher. What then is the rationale for the recent decline in the stock price and what is the outlook over the next year ?

Q: Hi team,
I have about a 5% position in SQ (my full is about 7% or so). I watched the earnings closely. They were good. The stock wavered a bit, held and is now moving higher. Yesterday, SQ announced they were accepting bitcoin as a payment option for certain customers. I have not jumped on the bitcoin bandwagon but have not dismissed it either. Is this an indication, albeit a small one, that bitcoin may be starting to go mainstream. Would you add to SQ here?

Q: I currently hold a very small position in Enbridge (1.5%) and a very large position in CDIC-guaranteed High Interest Savings Accounts (HISA's). I am retired and capital preservation has become important to me. HISA yields are about 1% while ENB yield is more than 5%. However, ENB dipped below $44 briefly this morning, which represents a 20% drop over the past year. Would you recommend switching some of my HISA's to ENB at this time to obtain a better yield?

Q: Greetings 5i,

Macro outlook is calling me away from N.A. today. Developing a strategy to take advantage of what looks like an enormous infrastructure and transportation project in China and surrounding countries. This may be old news to some but has popped up on my radar only recently.

"Estimates indicate that Belt and Road infrastructure projects in Asia alone will require investments of US1.7 trillion a year through to 2030" - HSBC

So my question is regarding China's Multi trillion dollar Belt & Road Initiative(Silk Road), what ETF holds companies that would gain significantly from this huge transportation infrastructure project?

Also could you see some simple base metal companies benefiting such as local iron ore company LIF, or a big international like Glencore?

Providing I stay diversified appropriately what is the best way to capture some of this growth?

Q: I hold CVS in my wifes RRSP account for US$ exposure. Would you suggest AET might be a better choice? Or some other alternative to get US exposure in the healthcare field?

Q: Peter, I'm interested in some US and/or international exposure to cyber-security companies. I'm aware of the HACK ETF, but believe that it's had some internal business issues (not sure if that makes a difference from my standpoint). Would you suggest HACK as the best/simplest way to get a diversified exposure to that sector? Do you prefer another ETF for this purpose. Or, given the 0.6% MER, perhaps splitting the investment money between, say, three individual companies would be a preferred course. Please advise, and if the latter option is what you would do, please suggest the three companies.

Q: In view of the PROBABLE acquisition by AT&T (T.us) of Time Warner, would AT&T now appear more pretty in your eyes now than it seems to have been in the past? (I am unable to see some past responses) . OR do you believe that political and regulatory uncertainty over the AT&T proposal is such that T.us is still not attractive enough to hold, notwithstanding the Time Warner possibility. AT&T's attractive dividend is all very well but not if growth is unlikley.

I have both Vodafone VOD.us and AT&T (T.us) in a registered account. VOD gives me Europe and India exposure. VOD has also been strong past couple of days, but I am not clear why.
Given my comments above , which one (IF ANY) would you sell and PLEASE your reasoning would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Q: Hello 5i, I have to many energy company's and would like to diversify and am looking at Fiera or Gluskin Shelf as I am closing in on retirement I would like
to be conservative could you compare these 2 companies and in your opinion which one would be better and if you have a better company to recommend could you include this name. Thanks

Q: Hi, I am coming to you after reading Market Masters. Thank you for your trustworthy work and this wonderful website. I have some US funds, and am looking at two stocks: Sociedad Quimica Y Minera De Chile SA ADR  (SQM) and Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings Inc  (AJRD).
