Q: I will be selling Suncor and also own RRX and thinking of buying more RRX to average down or would it be better to buy WCP? I currently do not own WCP.

one of the market call speakers
suggest to own Key instead of Ala

I have abit of both and Altagas is under water
so is Key
would it be wise to sell Ala for a capital loss and switch to Key
for a long term hold for mainly income and abit of capital gains ?

Q: I was wondering why the SP of TWM had been weak lately while the rest of the energy sector has been rebounding. This morning I stumbled into this while doing research. And BXE is a good example of a stock that has had a nice climb over the past 10 days. As always, I would appreciate your views.

On February 1, 2018, Bellatrix Exploration Ltd. ("Bellatrix") served an Amended Statement of Claim (Statement of Claim filed by Bellatrix on December 21, 2017) on Tidewater alleging a breach of a Gas Handling Agreement and CO&O Agreement pursuant to which Tidewater operates the BRC gas plant and processes Bellatrix gas volumes. The claim pertains to the allocation of NGLs at the plant, as well as production flow through and take-or-pay commitments. The claim is for $20.75 million plus additional damages. The action was commenced in the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta. Tidewater subsequently filed a Statement of Defence and Counterclaim against Bellatrix seeking $9.5 million plus additional damages. As at the date hereof, Bellatrix has not filed a Statement of Defence to the Counterclaim.

Q: Hi 5i. I am just starting an RESP for my 2 yr old granddaughter. I'm thinking long term of course and with only $5,000 available was considering VGG or VFV for a start. Either one or both. What do you think or is there a better alternative ? Thanks for your help. Ron

Q: ZMT is a 3 bagger from January 2016 to February 2018, but has fallen slightly since. Is this a good time in the economic cycle to purchase this etf or has the easy money been made ie do you think there is still good growth potential? What would you consider a maximum weighting? I would like to add some giddyup to my TFSA with a well timed position in commodities if in fact the timing is right. Thank you

Q: Hi Peter. To my dismay, I currently hold too many pipelines... Enbridge, Pembina, & Inter Pipeline. I wish to cut 2 of the positions and then possibly pickup Algonquin Power. I also own Fortis & Emera. Which pipeline would you suggest keeping, and your reasoning behind it. Also, do you feel 3 power utilities would then be too many and if so, which 2 would you prefer?
