Q: Hi Peter and team
Could I get your opinion on Lululemon. I've held it for quite some time, and seems in the last year or so as it gets going another negative report comes out. Is it worth holding or just move on. Thanks.

Q: I hold some Interpipe, Transalta Renewables (RNW ) and Pembina (PPL). All still at gains, but gains are eroding on a consistent basis. All are held for income as opposed to capital gains. Do you see any distribution cuts for these pipeline/utilities in the next couple years? Are recent distribution increases justified or misleading attempts to support stock prices? What is your opinion of the high-yielding pipes/renewables?

Q: I have the same security in 2 individual trading accounts. In one account my price is below cost so if I sell I trigger a capital loss. However I am above cost on the average of the two accounts. How does that figure for claiming a capital loss?

Q: Wouldn't a downturn in the economy be neutral for this company as it backs up the loans with overcollateralization (I think it was 130% last quarter) and therefore an increase in company defaults would end up okay for their balance sheet once things were worked out? Thanks.

Q: This is in regard to your reply to Donald's Nov. 29 question about the $10000 TFSA contribution. Do I understand correctly that you are suggesting that after having already contributed $10000 for 2015, we should "go for it" and contribute another $10000 on Jan.1 2016 (if the gov't hasn't made any announcement by then)?

Q: Yesterday, I read a disturbing article on Seeking Alpha that Timmons Gold might be bankrupt & cease operating in 2016. It is the only gold stock that I own & I bought it at $2.20. It is now $0.20. Should I give up on this stock and sell while it still has some value. Gold seems like it will take a few years to bounce back. 1 year ago Timmons Gold had a bright future but it's debt has grown and might be too large to pay back. Also what is your opinon of the Seeking Alpha site, thanks.

Q: In doing some overdue work on my portfolio I have realized that I have too many (over 30)stocks and secondly that I have 7 different stocks each making up close to 1% of the portfolio. Q: Re converting US to CDN $'s. Last time, I used Barrick, Sold short in my US a/c.
10 min. later bot in my CDN a/c. Called broker on the CDN. value date & had them tfr. to my US a/c. You're welcome.
