In preparing for the eventual oil recovery, what would be your top 3 names in the sector right now for capital appreciation and medium risk (i.e. survival during this down turn)? I assume WCP would be included since it is held in the model portfolio?
Q: Hi, I'm looking for low-fee ETFs similar to CBO in makeup and yield but priced in USD. Any suggestions? Specifically, I'm looking for somewhere to keep bi-monthly USD cash contributions to a USD TFSA before making equity purchase decisions (I don't like seeing cash sit in an account without getting any yield). My account has relatively low commission fees (none to purchase ETFs) so transaction costs aren't a huge concern. Maybe I'm thinking about this incorrectly, however, and any other suggestions on how to best hold monthly contributions would be appreciated. Much appreciated!
Q: Does the company have much growth potential or is it best viewed as primarily a good solid dividend stock? If a dividend stock, does the business model provide for an increasing dividend?
Q: Had a look at this today. Was surpirsied to see a yield just under 6%. I thought it had been marketed on the basis of about a 4% yield. I don't see our interest rates going anywhere for a while. Is this not a buy here? Can they grow dividend at all or is that doubtful?
Thanks
John

Q: I am wondering why the share buy back is being done. Does Dr. Peller's Holding Company, Jalger Limited, feel the stock is getting a little rich and he wants to offload a portion. I don't imagine the Doc needs the cash. Seems to me that this company has a tremendous amount of intrinsic value and as such, there is plenty of up side. Why now? Albeit the price is reasonable relative to the current price. Who knows what lurks in the mind of man. Notwithstanding I would appreciate your take.
Q: CXI has been on a tear over the last month while banks have not performed well. Do you have any explanation that would enlighten me? Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Q: SPB shows an 8% yield with a chart that indicates the stock price is moving ever downward. Do you think the dividend is sustainable and is there a possibility that SPB will not survive in your Income Portfolio? I would very much like to buy this stock but the high yield and scary chart are keeping me away.
Q: Hi Peter and team, with AYA wanting to privatize is there any chance of it going to $30 or near $30 in the mean time or is there no way of it going past $21 until something is settled. Thanks, Nick
Q: I would like to add to my WSP holdings but it is currently trading well below it's 200 day moving average. On 1 Oct 2014 you rated WSP as B- , would that rating hold today?
Q: Hi - Do you know what their current burn rate is vs cash. Are they likely to need a capital raise and do you think this is weighing on the SP? Any positives here? thanks

Q: How valuable in your opinion is their "Swiss water" decaffeination process? I think they also supply Tim Horton's and McDonald's, I imagine these contracts are more longer term? Could you please give a brief balance sheet and cash flow opinion on ten peaks. To me it looks good but I'd like to pay a "reasonable" price for it.
Thanks guys
