Q: CNR. Have you heard any news re the potential reason for the downhill trajectory in the stock over the course of the last 2 weeks?
PLTR. In an opposite sense, any news re the upside being experienced by this company over the course of the last 2 weeks. I did see a target price of $29 recently but everything I've heard is that the company's forecast was ok (nothing special), I've heard many analysts reiterate that the companies stock was overvalued, ...
Would you be a buyer for either of the above at current prices? If not, would you wait for a better price? Thanks.

Q: I own both of these companies and i see a recent question that you rate QSR better for growth in the future over CMG. Look at the 5 year return of both of these companies and it is like black and white. CMG has been fabulous and no return from QSR, why i still hold QSR is only hoping that one day, one day, that something positive will happen. The only person that makes money on this company is the overpaid CEO.
Q: Is there new life from the ashes?
Q: Would you please explain stock prices that move up sharply or down sharply for a short period, perhaps only one trade, before resuming the previous price trend? An example would be NVDA that moved sharply down to $133.50ish from the $1.35s at the close yesterday before moving right back up to the $1.35s.
How does this happen and who benefits from it?
Thanks for being there for us to ask questions like this.

Q: There is a lot going on with this company lately....
Candiac development, agreement with Worley, OEM collaborations, more patents, Rio Tinto $10m and Sumitomo $17m investments, $10m from Canadian govt, and JDA's with Our Next Energy and Umicore.
Current sp is at 52 wk. low
I don't really care to average down with stock choices, but I'm really tempted here,
What are your thoughts?
Thank you

Q: Hi 5I

Q: I have followed nuclear energy and Cameco for about three decades. It has been a tough investment environment for most of this time. We now are seeing a dynamic change in sentiment and planned expansion in this part of the energy sector. As an optimistic investor heavily invested in uranium stocks, I expect to have further capital gains as nuclear plants are built. However, it appears that some of the new modular reactors will use spent fuel rods as the source of uranium to run their reactors. Do you see this having a significantly negative impact on uranium demand going forward? Also, will the BEP’s Westinghouse purchase be material to the company in an expanding demand for nuclear energy?
With appreciation,
Ed

Q: Hi 5i, I have the following stocks (NVDA CSU LMN HPS.A BN XDIV RY CNQ JPM BRK.B VDY ENB) equally distributed in my rrsp, these stocks are generating 75% of my dividend-income goal. What changes would you suggest to get the last 25% , I do not mind selling my gold-stocks (the first 3) , but I would prefer to keep them. Hope it makes sense. Thank you 5i.
Q: Hello,
I have some exposure to other Brookfield companies (BAM and Renew). I was thinking of adding the Brookfield Infra LP to my RRSP. Long term hold. Are the valuation and long term prospects favorable at the moment in your opinion and is the LP the good choice in a RRSP (as opposed to the sister company which is not an LP)? Thank you.

Q: I read with interest your (excellent) advice about ‘when to sell a stock for fundamental reasons’ as I believe I often sold for wrong reasons, and I want to ‘learn’ to do it for better reasons. You mention the following:
‘In the case of volatility, if a name is jumping by 5% or more any given day, it is tough to call it an ‘investment’ anymore as it becomes more of a bet on a given day’s move. Again, some investors will make money here, but we would far prefer to look elsewhere at this stage.’
Vertiv (VRT) is one of the stocks you often mention as one that is taking full advantage of AI because of its ‘privileged’ involvement in data centre cooling technology and is in a ‘growth spurt’ that affects the stock price and is worth considering at this stage of AI growth investing. ( you do add it won't last forever, though…) Nonetheless, it is trading lately with large daily swings (of 5% and, even, sometimes 10%). In which way would it be different then and tough to call it an investment vs a speculation? I feel the same goes for Propel Holdings (PRL) which is another small but rapidly growing company because of an interesting business model. (it too, lately, also appears to be on an up and down elevator ride.) Would you care to explain the difference in reasoning please?
Thanks, Adel
