Q: Amazon is expanding its grocery business in USA. Do you think it's going to do the same in Canada? What would be the impact on Canadian grocery chains? Should I sell Metro Inc. shares just in case?

Q: Your comments please on Green Power's reporting? Future growth prospects? Will their new factory in Porterville start production soon?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Good Afternoon,
Is there a copper only ETF or just the blended base metal exposure like ZMT and XBM?
Thanks

Q: In a questioned asked on Nov 15th your replied
“We are comfortable with HWO, but it too is down on the year and the sector still looks horrible. It will likely see some tax loss selling and we would look at this in the New Year instead. “
What are your current views on the sector and would you be a buyer of HWO today?
Thanks
John

Q: The short and long term performance of Royal Bank has strongly outpaced CIBC. Would it be prudent to sell my CIBC shares and buy Royal Bank with the proceeds?
Q: Hi,
I am 100% satisfied with my 5i subscription even though I do not use all the services and use mostly the question database for my sourse of answers. I recommend you often. Keep up the great efforts. Being overweight CSU helps - thank you).
My question on New Flyer is that I have no exposure and am getting ready to press the buy button. The long term chart has shown substantial weakness since 2018, since your last report was released. Has there been and substantial change that would allter your rating or view on a purchase today. I am looking at least a 5 year hold. Thanks so much ! Jim

Q: I hold UNH in my US RRSP and RESP portfolios. With the recent decline and being in battleground with the democrates Medicare bill is it worth holding in these portfolios or is there a better US health care option out there? Considering there will be a lot of election noise later in the year.
Q: These ETF's have done well in the recovery. Too bad I missed it! Do you think they can keep going or should one wait for a pull back? Or would it be better to buy 2 or 3 specific reits? Wife's RRSP 5-10 year hold. Thanks

Q: Hi Team,
I love the work you do. I was just wondering what you would recommend purchasing when KWH.UN gets bought out? I am looking to replace it with another utilily. I owned Enercare, but when that got taken over I didn't replace it with another utility (but a bank stock). I am really looking for a good utility company. My investment style is that I try to be balanced. I like a combination of growth and dividends and hold my stocks for a long time. If you currently like a few, could you rank them in order and tell why you like them?
Thank you for all your hard work,
Terri

Q: Do you know when the Lightspeed IPO will happen or what would be your best estimation. I cannot find any specific information on the date. Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i,
Could you provide a short comparison of these 3 companies, how they overlap and differ?
If one has investments in SHOP and SQ would they "supersede" Lightspeed, or could they compliment? When does Lighspeed start trading?
From my preliminary research Lightspeed appears to be a combination of both SQ and SHOP where they provide POS payment systems with the ability to create a webstore (but seem more focused on brick and mortar vs. Shopify being more online)
Thank you!

Q: I recently sold some Apple shares and want to invest about 10,000.00 in the US market. Stan Wong on BNN was quite high on ARKK. What are your thoughts?
Thanks, Lesley
Thanks, Lesley
Q: Can you give me your opinion on this company...……….Richard
Q: I thought their year end numbers were quite impressive and if sustainable, the stock seems undervalued. What comparable company would you suggest to determine it's current value? It's small float and small capitalization may restrict the share interest to retail investors, at least for now. The increase in credit from their lenders was and is a sign that business is improving.
Q: HOLD, SELL OR BUY MORE? 1% OF HOLDINGS. SLIGHTLY DOWN
THANKS

Q: Telus and BCE. TransCanada and Enbridge. I generally try to aim for 5% per holding but I had a concern of too much overlap of these respective stock pairings, so I've reduced the total of each pairing to 8% from 10%. Is this still too much? On a the other hand, would 5% of all four make any sense? When it comes to diversifying in Canadian bluechips, variety is unfortunately limited if one wants dependable dividend growth.
Thanks.
Jim
Thanks.

Q: With the expectation of rising interest rates would you consider this a buy at this time?
Q: Recently a number of firms, including iShares, Templeton, BMO and Vanguard, have come out with asset allocation ETFs. These ETFs appear to be well diversified both geographically and sectorally. You can purchase these ETFs with various bond/equity ratios depending on your risk tolerance. What is your view about these ETFs? Would it make sense for a conservative, retired, investor to purchase one of these ETFs as their entire investment (and to sell their individual equities)? If you like these asset allocation ETFs, which one do you think is best for an RRSP, TFSA and a non-registered account?
Thank-you again for your excellent advice.
Thank-you again for your excellent advice.
Q: What is your opinion of this company? I feel like with social trends moving in the direction of "pets are more a part of the family" that people are willing to do what they can for their fur babies. Also with the trend of more meat and other live stock increasing in the diets around the world do you see this company as a good long term hold with the stock price increasing?
Thanks

Q: Hi guys
This recent option exercise at Mainstreet does not seem to be in the interests of shareholders other than Bob Dhillon.
http://reitreport.ca/mainstreet-announces-exercise-of-stock-options/
Your thoughts? Is it anything less than standard? I would see less issues if other directors had also been involved but it would appear to involve just the principle owner of stock.
I have held Mainstreet for quite a while. Other than a sale of the company, is there anything else that could move the stock price closer to book value?
I also own Moreguard and am considering selling MEQ for Moreguard - your thoughts.
Thanks guys
