Q: I have virtually no position in DSG. IS the current drop consists of an opportunity to start building one? Or wait to see where the price stabilises? What would be a good entry point level?

Alphabet Inc. (GOOG $195.70)
-
Intuitive Surgical Inc. (ISRG $482.45)
-
SentinelOne Inc. Class A (S $17.57)
-
Smith & Nephew SNATS Inc. (SNN $35.50)
-
CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (CRWD $439.90)
Q: I have a couple holdings that are giving me question for keeping.
I have a cost base of 20 on Sentinel and altho there was some positive stock movement a few months back the stock is currently showing little sign of moving higher. I know they are in Cyber Security. Is it worth holding and where would you suggest the funds could be better deployed if its a Sell?
In the case of SNN my cost is 24 but based on the longer term chart i'm not certain there is alot of confidence in the management when comparing to better performing Medical Device companies like Stryker. Would this be a Sell and redeployment of Cash into Intuitive Surgical?

Q: Are there any investment options that are independent of capital gains tax policy? For instance an investor may decide not to sell an equity to avoid triggering a capital gain and reducing capital (or may decide to sell for tax loss reasons). To avoid this bias are there etf/ funds that can swap investments without triggering capital gains?
Q: Please comment on earning. Thanks a million.
Q: What would be good price to buy ISRG hedged to Canadian dollar???.....thanks mutely.....tom
Q: Last November, CASY was listed as a favourite Consumer Defensive along with COST and WMT. In May of this year, CASY was on the 'quite comfortable to own list'. Considering it did very well yesterday, would a purchase now be considered buying a quality name and buying into positive momentum? How does 5i's feel about the company now and why? As a COST owner, I am quite interested in your thoughts on this name. With thanks.

Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. Class A Limited Voting Shares (BAM $84.24)
Q: I hold both GSY and BAM, and I'm considering increasing my stake. Historically, BAM has outperformed GSY over the past few years. Both stocks have similar dividend yields. Which one would you recommend I prioritize, or should I consider adding to both? I'd appreciate your insights. Thanks

Q: Hi, would appreciate any information and thoughts on this mutual fund. Thank you.
Q: I picked up a # of CVE in usd and a # of CVE in cad because of cash available in different denominated portfolios. I can do a securities transfer to marry up the two in one accout with no fee and consolidate the position to tidy things up. My question is for 5i, which way would you go with this transfer? Move the USD CVE to the CDN account or the other way? Im thinking move the CVD usd to the cad as the dividend is probably paid in cad and would save on currency exchange fees. What are your thoughts?
Cheers!

Q: BAM has dropped significantly this morning. What's behind the decline? I'm considering adding to my position - is now a good time? Thanks.
Q: Good morning team,
What are your views on this company? Drill results of the Gold Rock camp are quite exceptional and with drilling continuing this summer would this situation be a very speculative one ,or a "gamble"?
many thanks,
Jean

Q: Hi,
Canada, and other countries, are apparently going to reinforce considerably their investment in defense. In that perspective which of the above companies do you consider, in order most promising for strong growth in the next five years ? And which one would you buy for a good diversification within the sector ? Any other companies not mentionned ?
Gratefully,
Jacques IDS
