Q: You indicated in your answer to Warren's question that you feel the suggested buyout price for MEG Energy by Strathcona is too low. What do you think would be a reasonable offer, and what do you think MEG management would hold out for? Which companies might make an offer? Do you think the company will in fact be sold?

Q: Everyone, since January 1st I was down 23 % then today I have rebounded to even for the year. Lots of noise but having the best of the best means just waiting for the noise to end. The noise always ends! Clayton

Q: Hi,
Just looking for your take on the Moody's downgrade and what we can expect as a market reaction. Still time to be 'buying the dip' so to speak, or does this add a different level of caution? What can we expect to see from US bonds, dollar and the overall sentiment towards it being the world's reserve currency? Lots of questions, feel fee to deduct extra credits! Always great to hear your thoughts - thank you!

Q: There are two stocks for this company NVDA.to and NVDA. One is on the US stock exchange and the other is the TSX. The difference in the stock price is more than just the US and Canadian exchange rate. Why is that? Is the stock on the TSX a B non voting share? Do you recommend buying this company and on which exchange?

Q: Hi Everyone,

Can I ask your favourite (3-5 names) US Industrials names right now and a brief statement why? I'm not concerned about the tariffs or recession possibility, but rather wondering what do you see as some great opportunities right now that have serious potential beyond the current situation.

VRT is my only US "Industrial" at present.

Thank you!

Q: BCE has given up much of its post-dividend-cut rally - not to say that the cut was a bad idea, and maybe there's a support level lurking somewhere here. At the same time, I find myself wondering just what BCE's value proposition could be, now, to make it more attractive than T (or, for that matter, BNS or PPL, which offer similar yields)? Put another way: if investors have no reason to buy BCE other than income, and if declining interest rates are the only meaningful catalyst for share price appreciation, then, post-cut, isn't it at least as likely that it will continue to decline?

Q: Good Afternoon Team 5i,

Are you watching the US30Y? I’ve heard that the Trump administration blinked on tariffs initially when it hit 5%, (and the bond market is the more important market to watch this presidency.) Thus, if the US30Y gets up to 5% again this is something to keep an eye on and watch how the market reacts.

Do you feel this narrative potentially holds some truth? If so, would you please explain why the administration would want to keep the US30Y below 5% please?

Thank you.
