Q: Thoughts on this company? I read the financials and it looks like they have a lot of debt? Their ceo seems to have a great track record. Any red flags?

Q: Could you please give your opinion on BRAG after their earnings and Facebook follower numbers. What type of revenue would they get from these numbers? Thanks
Q: I have been trying to diversify my holdings. Tech is one area I have zero investments. I am looking for very long term holding with a dividend income. Can you give your thoughts of Tech Leaders Income. Is there a hold back on the income as these do appear to be all American Teck companies. Thanks
Q: Hi, Could you please put together a few reasons why the stock has pulled back from recent $45 level and now gravitating back towards 52 week lows of $35 - $37. In all your comments, you have all the positives to say about the company and suggested that Toys r'us bankruptcy issues are temporary and amazon being no threat to the company. However, market does not appear to think so. Someone on the BNN also mentioned that Hatchimals are also not selling well. During past 2 years, stock has been lagging from a high of $59 to a low of $35. Expectations of future growth and patience has not exactly helped and some of 5i favorites like, TSGI,TCL.a,SIS continue to test new lows. The point is, captital is not infinite and tough decisions to sell, without waiting too long may provide an opportunity to reallocate capital to 5i names with more clarity and positive momentum. This strategy helped when we liquidated full position in TSGI and 65% each in TCL.a and SIS, over time and used funds for LSPD, RPI.un etc. Does this sound like a fair approach ? With this perspective, is it worthwhile to hold on to TOY while market is saying otherwise ? Thanks

Webinar?? If , what did you think??

Q: Regarding Peters “Big Swim fundraiser” I like many others have done very well by 5i Research’s sage advice and would very much like to give back. Is it possible to donate shares “in kind” which would be very fitting and tax efficient means of donation.
Thanks 5i for all you have done.

Q: Hi, I’am down 5.90% on INE and was thinking of switching to ACI for better growth. I would lose $2000 on the trade, so would like your opinion for a 3+ year hold of ACI. Do you think It would be worth while or too close to call, and may just be spinning my wheels.
Thanks

Q: Hi fellows,
The concept of RealReal is most interesting and promising in the field of consumer cyclicals.
But what are your views of it as a stock for growth ? Would you buy it ? At what level ?
Gratefully yours,

Q: Your portfolios list several companies as "C.Cyp." and "C.non-Cyp." What sectors are these as they don't correspond to the sector analysis below.

-
Fortis Inc. Cumulative Redeemable Fixed Rate Reset First Preference Shares Series (FTS.PR.K)
-
Bank of Montreal 5-Year Rate Reset Class B Preferred Shares Series 29 (BMO.PR.T)

Q: I am presently holding the first 3 preferred in a non registered account.
BMO is held in a registered account.
Can you kindly analyze the above preferred. Some have decreased in value in the last couple of months. Any idea why this is happening.
Is it time to sell?

Q: UBER had a good run lately. It is higher than the IPO price the first time. I am thinking of adding UBER into my investment portfolio for a mid-term investment. Do you think it is a good idea?
I am also thinking of COST, Google, TTD for a relatively stable RRSP portfolio for a very long term. Is it okay to have all three of them?
Thank you very much.

Q: Hello 5i Team
I am reviewing alternative high yield C$ investments for my RRSP for a small portion of my fixed income (< 5% of total portfolio ).
Looking at the publicly traded mortgage investment corporations (MIC) on the TSX - of the four listed, which would be your preferred choice and/or ranked in order.
Are there any other MIC listed on the TSX?
Could you also confirm that "dividends" for MICs are considered as "interest" if held in a non-taxable account.
Thanks in advance for the great service.

Q: Hi, I need to increase my Industrial Sector a fair bit. I started with full positions in CNR, FTT and SIS. CNR has doubled but FTT and SIS are both down, SIS quite a bit.
I started with a half position in WSP and it's up a bit.
What would you do here to increase your Industrials
Thanks
Robert
