Q: Similar to my last question, but looking to the US, I am interested in having a group of companies that are great companies and want to develop a grouping of these -whether they have a dividend or not, as part of my portfolio. Companies that have a competitive advantage, great leadership, quality assets, not too high debt and continue to execute with continuous improvement. Could you give me what you consider to be the best Great US Companies for each sector or industry. Thank you.

But more and more I am interested in having a group of companies that are just great companies and want to develop a grouping of these -whether they have a dividend or not, as part of my portfolio. Companies that have a competitive advantage, great leadership, quality assets, not too high debt and continue to execute with continuous improvement. Could you give me what you consider to be the best Great Canadian Companies for each sector or industry. Thank you.

Q: I have arranged my 41 stocks into their sectors. Within each sector I have tried to find their revenue growth, earnings growth, P/E, depth/capital, ROE, and price/ cashflow. I am trying to use the 5i website but many items are missing for various holdings such as for BIPC and BIP. As well, to fill in the missing numbers I tried TD, Morningstar and others. Much of the data from these sites is conflicting. One shows no earnings, another shows $2.90 EPS yet another shows $0.92 for the same company. When trying to find an average for each sector to use as a bench mark the situation is worse!

QUESTION: Would you indicate a site that offers these criteria for each sector. Take as many credits as required.
Thank you

Q: I'm chiming in on retirement calculators - the CRA retirement calculator is an excellent tool, and very easy to use. The instructions are clear, and you can choose as many income streams as you have and for what years you will use them. I have built my retirement with several income sources - savings, RRSP, rental income, employment income, CPP and OAS, starting/stopping at various stages of retirement. This tool is terrific for planning as you lead up to retirement, as well as checking in along the way for any adjustments that need to be made. https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/publicpensions/cpp/retirement-income-calculator.html

Q: Hi Peter and team,
European ETFs such as the ones listed above have a relatively high concentration of pharmaceuticals. With Trump's plans to curb such imports to the US, do you believe that this will be a headwind for these ETFs?
Your insight is greatly appreciated.

Q: Hi 5I,
Just wanted to get your input on supply chain challenges from the tariffs and what impact this might have specifically for Dollarama. It is in my portfolio and has done well but will there come a time where some shelves are bare and successes are challenged. Should we be trimming Dol.ca in anticipation of this event?

Q: I have been building a portfolio with ETFs.
ZWC (10.3%) & HMAX (4.97%) makes up the Canadian Income Equity Sector (15.3%)

I am 77 years of age and only interested in Dividends, Interest and Distributions. I have 9 sectors I will present each over the next 2 weeks. Please comment on the 2 ETFs in this sector.

Thank You, Jim

Q: S&P500 forward p/e is over 20x (MAG7/tech influence), while equal-weight is likely more reasonable...how should we frame this? Apples to apples stay with the S&P benchmark for historical comparisons and say valuation is expensive? Looking at EW is more reassuring but is it rationalizing? Interested in your take...thanks
