Q: 5i, in the past answers you were lukewarm to AC, but the stock has performed very well. Given Canada's population make up (international travel) and their new planes, isn't it the great stock to own at this point in time? I owned it from $9 to $13 but didn't follow your rule of not selling a winner stock unless there is a material change.

Q: How did Samson's Holdings Limited end up owning 95% of CCL's class A shares?
On your updated company report, you mentioned that insiders own 17% of CCL. With Samson getting rid of their 14% position, I am assuming the total shares owned by insiders is now 3%?
Is Samson's at all related to the management of CCL?
And lastly, what percentage of a portfolio would you make CCL?
Thanks.
John

Q: Good morning Peter,
When looking at reversion to the mean, the near-term chart can be different from the long-term chart. For instance, the one-month chart for QQQ at closing on Friday, July 7, shows it to be below the mean suggesting a good buying time. However, the 10-year chart shows it to be significantly above its mean suggesting a good time to take profits.
Which is the more important indicator?
Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i team,
I know and understand that you recommand that all sectors should be represented at all time in a portfolio. From recents Q&A, I interpreted that your level of optimism was not very high for the energy sector. Mine is not high either, especially regarding oil companies, since expect oil price to remain around the curent price for the forseable futur. Plus the Canadian dollar is getting stronger on a converging monetary policy with the US. Would you be confortable if ZCL was the only investment in the energy sector in the current environment for an investor with bias toward growth and smaller cap? If not which oil companies would you recommand at what weight? Thank you, Eric

Q: What does 5i mean when a company has recurring revenue??
Q: Hi 5i team,
You recently mentionned that you expect the downturn in the technology sector to be short lived, because it is one sector where investors can find growth, and that the down trend could/would/should be reversed when second quarter results start to be released. What companies (presumably in the USA) will start this release period in the technology sector and at what dates? Thank you, Eric

Q: Hi Peter and team, this is about the Income portfolio of June 30, 2017. I have noticed that you haven't sold ZRE and haven't added a new 4% position in CSH.UN as per the infos in the New reports and updates from 5i Research of last week. Always in the context of the Income portfolio, I have noticed that you have a total allocation of 9.5% for the Industrials, Basic Materials, Healthcare, and Consumer Cyclicals combined. I know you are a strong advocate of sectors diversification, is 9.5% too litle for these four sectors combined? Would that be different if you had US stocks in the portfolio? Best regards, Gervais
Q: Was not able to locate a report about this company on your site and noticed s new position in the growth portfolio. Obviously positive that mgmt can start growth again? Why is it not in income model instead?

Q: I hold substantially less than 5% of each of the above securities in my diversified portfolio. The sector is not over-represented in my portfolio. I would appreciate your opinion as to which, if any, should be sold because of duplication; and/or to reduce the # of stocks held; and/or because of other specific concerns; and which, if any, should be added to. I do not require the cash from any disposition, am not averse to risk, and, subject to your comments, would reinvest it in this or any other sector which you recommend.Thank you in advance for your usual reasoned response.
