Could you please tell me a few good names in the Information Technology sector ? Also why you like them?

Q: Hello Peter,
Facebook announced great results;however, the stock hardly moved. Any comments? For gold, would you consider kirkland lake and detour as long term holds in that sector. Also, constellation software after the article in the globe has taken a step back. Is it good time to add more? Thanks very much

Q: Could you please comment on the recent earning earnings? They seem quite solid but without reference to expectations, it is hard to judge them.

By way of a comment, while you have never said anything negative about this company, it is not one that you seem to tout very much although it has been a solid performer and value grower for many, many years. Do you see this a reasonable core holding in tech?

Q: Technology is 15% of my equity portfolio. It is made up of KXS, TNC and OTC at 27% each and ENGH at 19% of the technology component. BTW thanks so much for recommending these. ENGH is "resting" after an amazing run up to about Jan/16. I suspect it will start to move up again if I remain patient. So just asking, would you change anything here?

Q: Today Intrinsyc press released another sizable order. They have had a steady flow of news releases the last 8 weeks on services and production wins. The stock seems range bound over this period despite its trades rather cheaply on trailing basis for Company that is showing very strong revenue and profit growth. I know the market cap is only $45M but many other tech stocks, same size, trade at much higher multiples and they have inferior balance sheets compared to ITC. Any insight or is ITC is stock that is ready to be re-rated much higher in coming months?

Q: With the kerfuffle over QCOM I noticed there is talk about the buyout of NXPI not going through. Further some analysts are bringing NXPI's price target down. One part of me likes the arbitrage between the two. So 2 questions. What does NXPI look like to you on a stand alone basis and what do you think of trading out of NXPI into QCOM over a period of time?

Q: Just a quick comment and suggestion on Tucows. I've held on to Tucows since last year to see how well their U.S. wireless carrier product Ting would contribute to growth. Something I didn't expect as a growth kicker is that their higher valuation gives them more leverage to consolidate other domain service providers into their core business. TC is up 15% this morning as they're buying a competitor. Might be worth taking a look again to add to a growth portfolio and would be great if you could do a report on them!

Q: Thanks for your Shopify reply. As a follow-up, no business relationship is secure forever but I was surprised you mentioned the risk with their Amazon relationship/partnership. Would they not have a contract for an extended period to justify Shopify's investment in time and resources at the expense of other opportunities and who else would be a potential partner that would be in a position to replace Shopify?

Q: Shopify is flying even before your top pick recommendation yesterday as it was $55 a month ago and just hit $68. It's on a trajectory that may imply a financing is coming soon. What do you think and how would you compare it's potential to Kinaxis' at today's prices?
