Q: Can you update your comment on Mattr Corp and the recent earnings, it had a big drop today, why? Have your comments from the last post in September changed? I'm wondering if I should average down at some point on my position in my RRSP or should I sell and move on. Is it worth holding for longer term?

Q: POSCO acquisition of Lithium South
https://www.lithiumsouth.com/posts/lithium-south-receives-green-light-from-posco-fortransaction-completion/
"The final acquisition price has been agreed and adjusted to US$65 million to account for tax burdens, closing costs and property payments."
US$65m = Can$90m
divided by 113m shares = .79/share payout to LIS shareholders
Is this an accurate guess or do 32m (I think) warrants and options need to be factored in such that $Can90m/113 + 32m shares = .62/share payout
What is your best guess as to the final share price value paid to Lis shareholders?
Thank you so much

Q: It looks like TGH is being acquired. I’ve read some of the news but I’m still not exactly sure what this means for my stocks and what I should do. Should I sell now? Or will by shares be automatically converted into the new company? Or will my shares be automatically converted into cash at a price of 1.92? If so, when does this happen?
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: After the earnings miss and the big reduction in share price, is this a buy now? Is the dividend safe?
Q: What can you see for this little bio tech companies future Sellas life Sciences group. Their approach to cancer treatment or cures seems interesting but what does the business side look like.
Thanks

Q: Hi - is there a light at the end of the tunnel for this company? Worth taking a small position?
Q: Your thoughts on their latest earnings please
Q: Could you please comment on DEFI's quarter results.
Q: This stock has experienced significant value decline over the past several years. Based on the most recent results and forecast, I’m becoming concerned about the long-term prospects for the company.
1) While I’m willing to hold through a downturn, I’m considering whether it makes sense to maintain my position or exit.
2) The company continues to increase its annual dividend and execute share buybacks. However, I question whether these actions meaningfully improve EPS compared to reducing debt. Is this a case of short-term investor appeasement, or would the market penalize a shift toward debt reduction?
Can I please get your thoughts on the company and the EPS question. Much appreciated.

Q: Is MATR worth keeping an eye on or is something broken?
Q: Is this a good time to start a position in ceco?
Q: I am considering crystalizing a significant capital loss on this stock, but actually retaining it by buying in a different account now, and then selling it in +30 days to realize the loss.
Before I initiate this, I would like your expert opinion on the 'survivability' of the company. Some questions:
What is their burn rate vs cash on hand?
How long before an event that will further dilute shareholders?
Are there any near term catalysts for the stock?
Do you think it is gradually going to zero?
Thanks

Q: Stingray released a very good earnings report last night and also announced a major acquisition, which they are calling transformational. The stock is up about 15% on the news, but still trades at a pretty cheap multiple. What do you think of it after these announcements? A couple of comments about it in the Forums section by Murray and I.
Q: Ca n you comment on their most recent quarterly earnings, are they trending in the right direction?
Thanks
Peter

Q: This healthcare tech stock just reported earnings, and appears to have beat on all marks. Yet the stock has dropped significantly since reporting. Wondering if you could give me your analysis if this is a good opportunity to buy relative to other healthcare tech, given its valuation metrics, support and resistance, and current growth trajectory. Any other similar small cap names in healthcare like this intrigue you right now?
Q: I am interested in your take on XAUT tokenized gold. Always on the lookout for the the next investment idea. Second question is winners and losers in the Carney shell game. Appreciate your input as always!
Q: Hi, thoughts on the 1/4 please. Do financials still appear on track?
I thought at one time 5i indicated that they are/were nearing profitability. 5i's Company EPS estimates page shows fy2025 and fy2026 still at a loss of .08 and .07 cents, respectively.
I do own the stock and was accumulating around the $4.50-5 but they are down a fair bit from the 52 week high now. Stay the course?
cheers,
Steve

Q: Hi 5I. Which of these 2 has the highest probability of success. What is the competitive advantage of each? What is the guidance on forward p/e of each? In VNP's case, which offering is their strong suit - Semiconductors or Performance Materials?
I love 5I. Have been an extremely happy subscriber for going on 12 years and it irks me when someone voices some petty grief. For investment advice for an individual direct investor, there is no better value than 5I.
