Q: Any news on this company? I see it dropped 10%+ yesterday but cannot find any news. Near a new 52 week low. It seems to be one of the companies that would benefit most by the Canadian production cuts as they produce just under 10,000 boe/d from what I can see.
If one thinks that a recovery in energy could come through the winter, would this be a good candidate? I realize it does not have the safety of a Suncor or CNQ

Q: Merry Xmas
Six months ago, it was suggested PEY needed a bit more time. Since then it as dropped a little more. So far I have taken a 50% hit. It is in my RRIF Would you suggest selling now or holding longer. A month or two ago, it seemed to be moving in the right direction, but that all changed recently.
Another big loser of mine in my RRIF is ARC. Would you consider selling it or holding.
Thanks for all you do

Q: one year forecast
Q: Can I have your opinion on PXT. Would you add to a half position now? Thanks
Q: Hi Team.
I understand that YGR sells its Oil production at the Brent price
which is higher than WTI pricing.
Is this Correct ?
Thank you
Eric

Q: Hi,
Peyto is getting a bit beat up today. Any thoughts on why this is?
Thanks,
Gord

Q: Greetings,
Cenovus just reported. What are your thoughts?
Merry Christmas!

Q: I was thinking about selling Tourmaline to buy Torq to trigger a capital loss while maintaining sector exposure. What do you think? Would you have any alternative suggestions for TOG (other than VET, which I already hold)? Thanks so much.
Q: Larry Berman likes this pick for the 8% yield and the “explosion” of pipelines in the US. Do you have an opinion and would it be appropriate for an RRSP?
Q: Can you comment on effect of the Alberta cut and surplus of oil on the pipelines ie IPL
Q: Well, pardon the pun, is it time to exit a gas play? Both my PEY, especially, and TOU are down big.
Or should I roll them into something else in the same space?
Long term investor.
Thanks for the wonderful service.

Q: I have high crush partners and am down 50%. My undestanding is that it is converting from a mlp to a corporation. Do you think it’s worth hanging on.
Q: Big drop today with GEI and I'm now down 12%. With the production cutbacks in Alberta has business changed for GEI? Is it a hold or a sell? Thanks!

Q: I'm looking to reduce exposure to the energy sector and harvest some tax losses. My holdings cover a range of energy companies with different strengths and weaknesses (gassy, oily, big cap, small cap) so equivalence is difficult to calculate. From the list of CVE, HSE, PGF, SGY, TOU and WCP in what order would you reduce these holdings?
As always, thanks for the excellent service.

Q: What happens to the warrants of BBI in this merger if it goes through?
Q: Can you tell me what prices (Cdn$/mcf) Bellatrix received for their natural gas in the previous 4 quarters? Can you also tell me what their avarage production cost was (Cdn$/mcf) as well?
The reason I ask this is because as of November 26, 2018 Bellatrix has locked in fixed prices in December 2018 (approximately 30% of natural gas volumes based on current annual 2018 production guidance at a Canadian equivalent price of approximately $4.33/Mcf) and the first quarter of 2019 (approximately 20% of natural gas volumes at a Canadian equivalent price of approximately $4.20/Mcf). Unless I'm missing something these prices seem to me like they are substantial higher than the norm of the past few years?
Thank you, Shane

Q: Provided we don't have a recession for awhile, plus the likes of BNN guests such as Eric Nutall & Josef Schachter think we are in the beginnings of a new Bull Market for oil & gas, Trican Well Services at a $1.20+/- per share seems rediculously cheap. Along with a few other stocks I think it could be a multi-bagger in the next 2-3 year time frame.
Or do you think I'm wrong and TCW is a value trap?
Thanks, Shane

Q: Gentlemen, could you provide me with an evaluation of recent VET transactions. Thank you. Gaston
Q: Hello 5i,
I am thinking of starting a long term position in oil that is not small or mid cap. I was looking at Suncor since they seem to have a closed system in place from oil in the ground to the gas station (Petro-Canada). What is their payout ratio?
Are there other canadian oil majors that are comparable to suncor that are as stable?
Andrew
