Q: would appreciate your comments on Perseus Mining...
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I realize that a Penny Stock is highly speculative. I am just curious how they progress to become a viable investment. Please give me your assessment of KG. Do they have a good asset? Do they have the funding? How would you rate there management team? Will they ever get a shovel in the ground or will they just fade into the wind like so many other Penny Stocks? Ha!Ha!

Q: Hello Peter et al,
Could I have your current thoughts on Pretium resources?
I'd like to buy but fear I may have missed the boat.
Thanks
Dave

Q: I owned Lakeshore Gold and knew something about this company. I know very little about Tahoe Resources. Should I hold onto these or sell and buy another silver or gold company. I already own Silver Wheaton, Franco Nevada and Osiko. Precious metals are less than 10% of my portfolio. I would appreciate your thoughts on this
Many thanks

Q: Hello Peter,
Can you please explain the various reasons for gold to move higher? One of the reasons i have been reading is deflation. If that is true, it appears that Prem Watsa at Fairfax is betting on deflation. His portfolio supposedly will do well if he is correct. If gold is going up due to deflation, why is Mr Watsa not buying gold? I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks very much.

Q: How is a metals producer usually valued? I see Scotiabank has an adjusted eps calculation, but I wonder if book value should also be considered. I calculate an BV/sh of approx. $15 form their recent filings today. In your opinion what would be a reasonable price range for this company at todays copper/gold prices +/-10%?
Thanks, Gordon
Thanks, Gordon
Q: In your esteemed opinion which would be a better way to invest in Gold:
1) Buy the Stock XAU, or
2) open a BitGold a/c, wherein you Cash deposit buys Gold at it then spot Price and you sell at whatever Spot price prevails at time of Sale. $ Cost Averaging alos has a play here.
Many Thanks. Austin

Q: Hello Peter and 5i Team:
Royal Nickel's Value has risen quite a bit when would you sell(next quarterly report) or at what value of common share? I seem to hang on to long so a heads up may help me. Thank you for your time and courtesy.
Hugh in Calgary

Q: Overall I am very happy with the diversity in my portfolio, except for one sector, resources, which I have avoided like the plague for the last six years for obvious reasons. But the tables are turning. Could I ask you for 5 resource stocks for consideration, with dividends if possible.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Hi, I am down about 20% on IMG. What do you think about selling it and do you have any gold stocks you would recommend to replace it?
Q: As a followup to my CRJ.TO question (and thx), are you suggesting that Claude's stock price moving forward is limited/tied to the SSO price due to the upcoming acquisition, and to simply steer clear? I was actually unaware of SSO's interest in the company. If so, is there another smaller gold miner worth considering in its place vs FR. Thanks again for the heads up. Ron
Q: I have invested in Sherritt bonds in the past when they came under pressure and made capital gains at maturity. I am looking at the bonds that are due November 15, 2017 with a coupon of 8% and priced at $51.50 per $100.00 plus accrued interest and was wondering what your thoughts would be of purchasing $10,000.00 face value for approximately $5,550.00 and holding till maturity.
Thank you
Thank you
Q: I currently have no gold exposure & recent action has certainly caught my attention. What is your opinion on Claude Resources?
I am considering an initial combined purchase of AEM, CRJ, and RIC when/if there is a bit of a consolidation or pullback. What would you suggest as an allocation percentage? I've really appreciated reading your unbiased guidance over the years. Many thx, Ron.

Q: Hi, You have never been asked about McEwen Mining (MUX), so here is the first one. It has relatively recently introduced a dividend and Mr. McEwen has done great things in the past, so, what do you think? Thanks again. Henry
Q: On my Itrade account under the April 26 news section Eric Sprott purchased 16.2 million shares of Newmarket Gold at $2.80 to bring his holdings up to 17%. On April 26 the stock was trading in the $3.30 to $3.40 range. How did he get them for $2.80? Where is the best place to find when companies earnings are coming due. There is very little information on Itrade about it. People looking for somebody who explains stock charts -- go to stock scores with Tyler Bulhorn - he has a weekly email that explains all the charts and where the markets are headed.
Q: In the last few weeks, you've mentioned both these companies as good prospects in the gold sector, if gold continues to churn higher. What % weighting would you advise in a balanced portfolio? Are they worth the same weighting as AEM, for instance? (Already owned.) Thanks
Q: LIX looks like a purely speculative play. Do you have any thought on this company.
Q: I am interested in your opinion of Teck Resources. I have a holding purchased at a substantially higher price and am wondering if I should consider adding to it at this point.
Thank you,
