Q: Good day, I know it has been like quicksand, but I'm already in (at slightly a higher price) and am wondering if there is some value in GE around this price? For short-term (tax-loss bounce) and longer-term. Your insights are much appreciated. Thanks.

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
Here is a rather unfair question. I realize this may be a difficult comparison. However if you had to choose one of these companies based on current price for a 3 year hold which one has the better long term value? Your opinion is always appreciated!
Thank you!

Q: GE has been beaten up lately and fallen out of favour with investors. However it has been around a long time with a history (until) recently as a golden star and within the DOW preferred stocks family. Is this a good time to invest in and take a larger position within my portfolio
Q: Your thoughts on GE after today's announcement?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: GE has been going down for years but does a lot of business. Is it a turn around at these levels?
Q: Your thoughts on GE - is it time to get back in ? The stock has been on the rise the last couple of months. Looking to add to my RRSP account - pays a nice dividend.
Thanks

Q: Hi Team,
Would you say the worst is over for GE and the stock has finally broken its downward trend? Isn't GE stock in a more favourable risk/reward situation? Would you be a buyer now if you were a higher risk investor? Or would you still wait?
Thanks for your invaluable guidance!

Q: I am interested in buying Cummins for a long term (5-10 year) hold, or a comparable industrial in USF. Honeywell is my only other USF industrial. Could you please give me your opinion on purchasing it on the fall, or recommend other industrials, with a at least a small dividend.
Your advise is always appreciated!

Q: I bought GE several years ago for its stable dividend (sigh). I have been pondering whether to let it ride and see how it recovers or if I should sell before it drops to nothing. Looking at what is being published goes in both directions as to whether it should be held or sold. From your Q&A it appears that you wouldn't suggest getting in. What is your position about holding a persons current position?
Q: Is GE 'interesting' yet? Understanding that it might cut the dividend entirely.

All factors considered which one would you choose for long term appreciation? Your insights are always appreciated! Thank you!

Q: What is the trend in the short position in GE shares over the past several months? What if anything does 5i "read into" the trend? Is it correct to think the short position in a stock reflects how "the big guys" (hedge funds, etc) are evaluating a stock?
Thank you. Edward

Q: Is GE investable again, or is it more likely to plateau around its current valuation?
Q: is it time ryan to buy 1000 shares of general electric. thanx ryan and merry xmas to you peter and all thanx cliff

In terms of valuation, fundamentals and major corporate surgery at GE I am trying to measure risk vs reward. As a contrarian play what do you think would be a reasonable entry point... $17...$16...$15? Thanks!

Q: Hello Gents, is GE worth a look at these levels? And what are your thoughts on the new Stelco? thank you, cp.
Q: Talk of a dividend cut has been circulating for a while. Down $9 bucks a share on this behomoth! Is this what the street will be happy with--a dividend cut so that they can start growing? Would you hang on for an eventual turnaround or buy something (suggestion?) similar industry but growing. Thanks.
Q: About 1/3 of my US stocks are GE. They have been good in the long term. Should I continue to hold them?

GE... the giant has stumbled. A large 3rd Q. miss, a possible dividend cut and continued reorganization... So with all that uncertainty the stock is hitting new lows. I also presume tax loss selling may increase after the CEO provides his vision for the company on Nov.13th. So do you think it is possible that this stock may fall another 20% before it hits bottom? Better to hold or bail now because it looks like a long rough road!
Thanks for your great insights which are always of value to us little guys!

Q: I hold a 5% position in GE, down quite a bit now. I have a long time frame and am trying to be patient. Should I keep holding long term, see what the new CEO can do... if they cut the dividend should I sell?
