Q: Now that SHOP has announced plans to enter the point of sale hardware business, is it lights out for LSPD?

Q: I have 400 BN with an ave cost of $39.24 and current price $42.16
I also have 2 BNRE-ave cost $56.18 and current price $42.56

What happens if I transfer the 2 BNRE into BN with the different average cost and current prices?
Would it be better to keep them separated?

I am not good in coming up with limericks! If I were, I would somehow use Peter/Ryan and TD/BNS/BN in a limerick ! If I said you folks sound like a broken record it would be rude. May I say you sing that lovely tune that consists of notes TD/BNS/BN/RY always! Faithfully endorsing a buy on the above mentioned stocks.

But here is my question based on my mild bewilderment! On one hand your faith in BN is linked strongly to Mr. Bruce Flatt's managerial skills. But on the other hand BNS's CEO didn't meet your approval and you were at best very tepid in welcoming him! TD's foray into the M&A domain was a disaster!

Having said that my faith in your suggestions is unshakable! With this in mind, can you rank order these stocks in terms of priority of buying at this stage. How long do you think one has to wait for these stocks to return to decent price range. a year or two or three? Your crystal ball is lot clearer than mine!!

These are going to be held in our TFSAs and plan to buy and forget about them for a while! Keepers and not traders!

Analyst reviews from Scotia McCloud are so so. To my eyes, the technicals look good - actually better than its peers. Does MDB have an advantage in the market? Q: I compared the 6 month stock price performance of the following as Nasdaq stocks and as CDR's:: AAPL, AMZN, GOOG, META, & NVDA
All stocks showed better returns on the Nasdaq.
than as CDR's probably due to currency fluctuation but I am puzzled by the huge discrepancy in the gains between the 2 exchanges. eg. AAPL & NVDA show a 25% higher gain - AMZN 12.4% - GOOG 16% - META 1.7%

In regards to BEPC:CA, BEP.UN:CA, BEPC:US, BEP:US and stock Beta.
Your web site reports: 0.80, 0.76, 1.09 and 0.87 respectively.
Does your web site report 3 Year Beta? If not, what is it? What is a reasonable Year Beta statistic to consider? Can you help explain why the Beta varies quite dramatically with the four different Brookfield Renewable tickers? There doesn't seem to be any obvious correlation between the Corporate versions and the different Currencies?

Q: Hi, Telus stock has shed about 8% of its value over past 3 weeks and is trading very close to its 52 weeks low of $25.95, back in January. Is this the " higher interest rates for longer fear " for Telcos/Utilities or, there are business issues specific to Telus. If none, does it male sense to add at these levels for income/growth ?

BCE has also declined by about the same %, during the same period, but is still well above its 52 week low.

Q: I have both of the above ETF's. Thinking of selling all of ZWB and adding to ZEB . While I like the high yield of the covered calls I think there is better opportunity for capital appreciation. with ZEB. as the values of all the banks are down. This would be aa long term hold. Your thoughts .
