Q: Do you think it's a good time to buy renewable energy or wait? For summer to end? For the recession to start? Can you give me list of your top 2 picks in the sector for both CDN and US markets over the next five years?

We think renewable energy has been over-pressured due to its long-duration nature and rising interest rates. We think utilities can do okay from here. We believe a staggered approach would make sense here, with building a position over time. Some of the names we like are: CDN: BEP.UN, NPI, and US: NEE and FSLR.
