Q: What is your opinion of BNTX as a 3 year plus hold. Do you believe there is evidence to show there technology is transferable to cancer and flu vaccines. Do you see any potential downside to purchasing the stock at this time or are there other companies that you would prefer in this sector. Thanks

Q: Looking at CJT's financials (Morningstar), I notice a huge loss for derivatives, in fact the 150 million accounts for the poor earnings result in 2020. Did management royally mess up, what's your take on it?
Thanks for everything you do.

Q: Forgetting about the KSU acquisition, which would you prefer today. A 5-year chart shows that in 2016 CP was trading at about $26 CAD and CNR @ $80 CAD. CNR's Dividend is a full 1% higher.
Thanks as always!

Q: Hi 5i Team;
Would you please give your opinion on the prospects for FSKR:US. I am interested in the current value (Is it a good buy today) and likelihood of growth over the next three years. Is a competitor company a better choice?

Q: Hi 5i,
I will use OTEX for my question but any interlisted company with US$ revenue will do say SHOP.
With the CDN$ raising how does this impact canadian share price? Is it possible that this represents a headwind? Wouldn't it be prudent now to journal/convert CDN shares into US shares. If CDN$ strengthens my canadian share values my decline if the company revenue is mostly US$. If CDN$ weakens that is ok I will make bigger profit if i convert back to CDN$. Am I correct?

Q: Good morning,
I have some cash and am looking to add more non-Canadian content to my stock portfolio which is 79.5% Canadian stocks. I have only 4.5% in Europe in FEZ (US$) and XEU (C$), and 16% in individual US stocks. I have no emerging markets. I am thinking of adding to XEU because the European market is cheaper than the US and the large number of value stocks in the ETF should benefit from re-opening in Europe. For a balanced investor would it be reasonable to double Europe to 9% by adding to XEU bringing foreign content to 25%?

Q: Will there likely be any repercussions to Fiera for collecting $2.9 million CEWS support that they didn't require? If they repay the money, would they need to restate their financial filings?
Q: There was a 13% positive move on XBC yesterday. Do you have any insight regarding this move?
Q: I hold both in a non-registered account, and I'm always concerned about U.S. companies doing spin-outs, because it invariably requires an 86.1 election with the CRA, because the total value of the spin-out is included in the current year's T5. While the 86.1 election will defer the tax for another time, it requires paper-filing, including a letter with your tax return that explains what you're doing, and I'd rather avoid it if I could. Do you know if the new company that will be created with AT&T's assets will be spun-out to existing AT&T shareholders, or does AT&T just receive the $45B mentioned today, and that is it?
Thanks very much...

Q: Hi.
My biggest portfolio loser is USA silver.
I need a 60% return to break even.
What do you think of switch to MRS.
I believe it has potential to go up 60% from here in the next 12 to 18 months.
Thank you.

Q: I just took a position in NTR because of the recent high prices for crops (corn and such) under the thought that this should drive demand as the farmers should have more cash and a reason to increase acreage planted. Is this a reasonable thought process. If you look at NTR as a trading stock what are the things to look out for to realize the ballgame is almost over and how early (what inning) is it now.
Q: Peter; Thunking of switching from SDE to WCP - your comments please. Thanks. Rod
