Q: Could I get your thoughts on their earnings? Are analyst estimates pretty accurate at determining how much impact currency fluctuations will have on earnings for a company like NFI that has a lot of its business in the US?

Q: Hi Peter & team,
Assuming you had a chance to listen in the Conf. call....what is your take? Would you be inclined to sell (I would break even) and buy later or just hold?
Thanks!
Q: My question is about at what percentage level of a total portfolio do you trim a half position. If you suggest trim a full position at 7 or 8% of a total portfolio, what percentage do you trim a half position? Is "the rule of thumb" still at 7 or 8% of a total portfolio or do you suggest a lower percentage?......Tom
Q: Hi there, thank you for the quick response to my question. Quick follow up, could this be a great opportunity to buy more for a quick trade, if SC/NYX settle with WH in next two days? What down side risks do you see for share price here for a quick trade? Thanks!
Q: HI,
Maybe my math in not accurate but if WH pays 3.67$ for 40.7M shares, this would result in about 150M cash (or about 1$ / share). if this is wright, would not this be positive for the share price? or my math is wrong?
Q: Hi there, can you please provide further clarification to your response on NYX today. Why would William Hill want to block the take over? Would it not just hurt their holding in NYX? Unless they want to hold out for more cash for their preferred shares then what the take over offer is for? Would that not push the share price possibly higher, not lower, on speculation for a higher bid from Scientific? Somewhat confused here with the share price reaction. Can you tell if William Hill has increased their holding in NYX recently for a possible move on NYX themselves, shaking out weak holders today with this move? Thanks!
Q: I'm 84 and invest for income with some growth. We have full positions on 23 holdings in our joint account, with a value of over $900G. I'm considering trimming some of the loftier positions and taking a half position in AFN for income and growth. It is a rather small company but seems to have good prospects in Asia. Can I have your comments on AFN. Thanks, Ted
