Q: LMAT does seem to show up on your site. It "manufactures and distributes medical devices for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease". Thoughts on this company growth, competition, etc.? Thanks

Q: I have listed a number of companies you like. Most of the companies named have done well (some very well).

Do you consider all these names a Buy at current levels? From the list what would be your 5 favorite stocks?

Thanks
Tim

Q: I have a ~1% position in ERF (Enerplus), in an RSP, which looks to be taken over by Chord (CHRD). Most of the ERF proceeds would be in CHRD shares (a company I don't know much about), with only a relatively small amount of cash received. Meantime, my portfolio is currently ~8.5% oil & gas (SU, CVE, TOU, IMO, CPG, etc.) but only ~3% "chips" exposed (CHPS.to, MSFT). From your perspective, what do you think of selling some (or all) ERF now, so as to buy something like ASML?

Q: Hold the above securities in TFSA account held by my 89 year old parent. EMP.A (-25%)and ENGH (-51%) and am now trying to decide if I should add to them or move on to something with a better future prospect ( a suggestion with be appreciated). TOU has a small positive return at this time but was thinking of replacing it with CNQ - your thoughts. Some other holdings in the account include BAM, BN, CM, BEPC GSY, JWEL. Please deduct as many credits as many credits as appropriate.

Thank You

Q: HELLO PETER AND COLLEAGUES,

Five years ago I was willed a (small) number of shares in Suncor, which seems to have gone through some ups and downs the last few years (more downs than ups when it comes to CEO's replacements and other issues...) but seems to have stabilized somehow lately. Notwithstanding, do you consider CNQ a better run corp with a better chance of success, and should I, for the intermediate time when owning shares in an old fashion energy business still makes some sense, switch my SU position to an equivalent CNQ one? Thank you.

Q: Found this tiny REIT that has a portfolio of multi-family properties in Winnipeg. They trade at a significant discount to NAV; however, the debt is high and it is VERY illiquid primarily because there are a very low number of equity units O/S.

The Company is externally managed with a management agreement that pays fairly high fees.

Is this one worth the risk?

Q: Good morning. I have held Canoe EIT Income Fund since 2016 and it has averaged 11% annually. My goal is yield so I have been quite happy. I am currently reinvesting the distributions, but plan to eventually withdraw them to help fund my retirement. My EIT.UN holdings are now approaching 7% of my portfolio value and I was hoping to find something similar but different, for diversification. I know you have mentioned in the past that the fund is decent but has some drawbacks like a high MER. Could you provide some other options please? Thank you.

Q: BIZD Vanec BDC Income ETF

Stable, reliable income plus some growth?

Thanks.
I just submitted a question on this ETF …. BUT forgot to ask if it would also be a good complement to XLF because of the different composition of holdings. ?

Or is there a better financial ETF choice for that purpose?
