Q: I have sold my positions in ENB and ZCL for tax loss reasons. I am wondering if I should look at other stocks to replace these now or just hold the cash and buy these back in January. I would like your opinion and suggestions. I have a very long time frame. Thank you

Q: Hello Peter and Ryan,
Yangarra resources was going up while other oil stocks were going down. However, today Yangarra Resources barely moved much when other oil stocks surged given the news on OPEC production cut. Any comments? Also, Savaria surged a bit today. Was there any news? In general, when a particular stock stays within a narrow range when all the others in the sector are moving up alot, what does it mean for that particular stock? For example, today MedLeaf hovered around 1 percent range whereas the other cannibis stocks including the ETF HMMJ surged considerably. The same was true the day before when the cannibis stocks were down , MedLeaf stayed in the one percent range. Thank you.

Q: Hello
I am looking at Canadian non-cyclical segment stocks.
What are your thoughts on TPX.B and SAP?
Can you also comment on their projected growth for 2018?
I currently own some Premium Brand, Aliment Couch Tard, Coke, and Mondalez.
Am I over diversifying by adding two more names to my Non-Cyclical segment in your view?
Thank you!
Stephane

Q: I'm thinking of moving on here and an wondering what you might replace it with at today's prices. I also own MG and have done very well so don't need to stay in the auto parts industry. I'm a little light on industrials and materials so either sector would be fine. Thanks again for your valuable service!
Q: With XTC's growth slowing down and NFI's pullback, I am thinking of selling XTC and buying the equivalent value ( 4% of a balanced portfolio ) of NFI. I have a gain of 60% having owned XTC for 5 years. I am interested in dividend growth and stability in the business.
What are your thoughts about the prospects of these two companies 5 years out?
Thanks!
Rob

Q: I'm thinking of taking my approx. 30% loss on VET and replacing it with something similar that has similar prospects. I own Whitecap as well. Would Cardinal energy fit the bill or would you recommend something else or even just buying VET back in 30 days. Thanks for your advice.

Q: Hi,
On Thursday there was a 10 Million block of shares traded near close on PEY.un. The volume for the day was more than 10x the average daily volume and the stock closed down. Is this something significant that should be noted by investors? Do your terminals provide any additional insight? Thank you for your comments.

Q: Just a comment. I feel that Sharesight is kinda expensive unless you have a 10 stock portfolio and I am interested in what other members think.

Q: Hi 5i - what in your opinion are the prospects of a Tesla "bankruptcy"? At what point will it no longer be able to raise needed capital?
Q: Hi Peter and Team,
Can you commend on MCB which is a small 40 million mkt/cap .
Will this company going bankrupt ? or worth in my gamble money pool ?
Thank you so much for your great service.
Regards, Tak

Q: Has traded very poorly last couple of days on no news, and a healthy market. Anything you can see that would cause the pressure?
Q: Hello 5i,
From time to time a well performing company misses on earnings estimates in a quarter but it does not necessarily mean that its longer term good performance and potential growth will slow.
What was the cause of the poor earnings per share result. Was the reasons for this miss merely a temporary hiccup or perhaps a longer term issue. What conclusion should one draw from this quarter's results? Are the views about this company change from your September report? Is the growth by acquisition theme and potential remain intact. What can we expect to see from the company in the next 6 and 12 months. Should I continue to hold or sell at this time.
Thanks for your excellent insights.

Q: Hi 5i,
We (senior investors and drawing from portfolios) have $173,000 in 2 TFSA accounts. We have $32,000 cash available in these accounts. Accounts currently hold AC, KXS, NFI, PHO, SIS, SHOP, and fixed income XBB and XHY. What would you suggest I look at to add to this mix at this time for long term holds. No cash is drawn from either TFSA .
Best Regards,
Ted

Q: Under your old format I had an alert and a favourite list. How do I access them under the new format, if they are still available?
I read on November 30th on answering a question that you also provide charts. How do you access them?
I just cancelled a $650.00 newsletter a great deal of money more than yours and it was no where near as good as yours. I am happy to have you guys behind me. Thanks. Dennis
