Q: Why is this stock trending downwards when every other pot stick is going up? Has management misled investors? They have a cultivation license in Canada + a license to sell in Vegas.

Q: I've just read a news release by Kirkland about a mine they own in Austr.
I have limited knowledge of all the tech. facts they quote but seem to remember other miners bragging about ore containing 8-10 grs/ton.
The #s given by KL seem outlandish by comparison.
Can you fill me in as to whether this is even believable and what course of action woulld be warranted considering I want to get involved in the gold sector.
Thank you for your great service. Harry.

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
How are annual portfolio returns calculated? I thought I knew but now am not sure. I thought Dec 31 was the date that everyone did there mathematics...measuring the difference that occurred during that year. Are there other ways? For example can you just use any day during the year that your portfolio hit its high and use that number? In other words is there accounting consistency between the financial institutions and retail investors or is there a little manipulation for marketing purposes? Thanks for the clarification.

Q: Have done some tax loss selling and could do some more. Have losses in both CRH and WPK. Don't need the $ however could deploy elsewhere if freed up, and use loss to offset some 2017 gains. Any indicators to say which one may stage a decent recovery sooner than the other?
Q: Hi Team,
Wondering what you think about Rogers as a short term trade. When I look at the 1 year chart I see a few levels of consolidation. Do you think it will pop back to recent highs or test one of the lower levels?
Thanks,
Jamie

Q: I'm interested in investing in one small oil producer at the start up stage. My choice is down to YGR and VLE. I would appreciate your critique of these two companies in terms of growth potential left. Both companies have huge run ups recently and I would like to hear your expert's view on them. Thanks.
Q: I picked up some Knight recently during tax loss buying and am anticipating a 15 to 20% bounce over the next few weeks. Do you think it’s worth holding on for the longer term or taking any short term gain and moving on?
Q: Hello,
I see Tinley (California Marijuana Beverages) and Neptune Tech (Marijuana oils) are both up nicely this week. Is there any news on either that is causing the upswing?
Do you have any updated research or review on these two stocks?
Thank you!
Brian

Q: I've been a member of 5i for about two years and your help has been substantial. Thank-you. I currently own a portfolio that closely mirrors your balanced portfolio.
My question today relates to one asked recently about Warren Buffet's wishes regarding his investments should he die. I believe it was somethink like 10% to short term bonds and 90% to the S&P 500. I'm seeking advice regarding what a kind of portfolio a Canadian should develop in a similar situation. My wife has no interest in day to day stock analysis. Should she inherit our portfolio, I'd like to construct a 'buy and hold' ETF portfolio, in addition to our current portfolio, with exposure to Canada, the United States and the rest of the world. This would comprise the equity part of a more complete portfolio. Hopefully, it would have the potential to show resonable gains with little attention by the owner. My question is: which 3 ETF's would you choose to gain exposure to the 3 markets for a Canadian who simply wants to buy and hold? What % would you put into each ETF?
All the best to you and your families for the holiday season.
