Q: I recently took profits in IBB and ARKG. I like the sector but would prefer a more focused approach. What are your 5 best biotech stocks for a long term hold. Thanks for this great service. I tell everyone that the best value around is a 5i membership.
Q: I received a message from my broker stating that I have three options regarding Redemption of these units, basically redeem or don't (and take part in the transition to Algoma, I guess).
1. Why would you need/use the redemption offer rather than sell on the exchange (at least while trading above the redemption price as it is at the moment)?
2. The message included this: WARNING: RESTRICTED, PRIVATE OR NON-QUALIFIED SHARES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN YOUR RBC DIRECT INVESTING INC. ACCOUNTS AND FOR REGISTERED ACCOUNTS MAY ALSO BE SUBJECT TO PENALTY TAX.
Does this actually apply to these units, or is it boilerplate?

Q: Hello 5i,
What do you think about the companies above? Is the risk worth the reward? How long do you think these stocks get hot? You think the uranium, cobalt and gold markets are cooling down and getting ready for another long hibernation?

Q: hello 5i:
not many questions on BWA. Could you comment on growth and valuation? Is it a direct competitor with MG? Which of the two do you favour, and why?
thanks

Q: Hi,
GSY has done very well in the past year going from ~$70 to current value of ~$186. In your opinion, does it still have decent runway ahead? Or am I too late to the party on this one?
Thanks,
Rob

Q: Given the nature of its business, video-streaming, and the ongoing pandemic, what might one expect for the next reporting period? What is its rank in the sector? Thank you.
Q: Should I start a position with this in my registered acct for the income over the long term?
If so, should I use some cash on hand or sell BEP which I am only up 10% on?

Q: Hi,
I am a member of 5i for over 6 years and I am glad I made the decision to be become a member. Thank you for the wonderful service.
Over the years I have been looking at the reports and now I am seeming more A's and A-'s..is that because these companies have met all your expectations or have you become a more lenient marker?
Also there used to be a page which lists all the coverage companies (irrespective of the portfolio they might be in ) where can I find this page?
Thank you and have a very happy Thanksgiving!
Shyam

Q: Given the consensus opinion that rates are likely to rise, do you perceive a risk that the US dollar might spike, driving down the price of commodities, especially oil? Could a 2014 scenario be in the cards?
If the dollar does rise significantly, could oil/gas rise in tandem? Would you be inclined to position a portfolio for higher oil and gas prices in the coming year or so, regardless of what the dollar does?

Q: Hi 5i,
I have the following in a non-registered (and high risk tolerance) account:
LSPD (+55%)
GAN (-21%)
XBC (-65%)
QUIS (+21%)
AMY (+28%)
PLTR (-15%)
NANO (-28%)
OPS (+37%)
PLUG (-62%)
1. Is there any names on this list that you would consider selling at a loss and re-deploying elsewhere?
2. I'd like to buy LSPD in my separate registered account considering the sharp drop over the past couple weeks. Is there any limitations on owning the same stock in both registered and non-registered accounts? I am comfortable in my overall position so that would not be a concern.
Please deduct credits as you see fit.
(There is a chance I've submitted this question twice; if so, please answer this one. My browser crashed during my first submission and I'm not sure if the first one went through.)
Thanks for your insight,
Kyle
