Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: I own 18 US Stocks and have losses in the following 6:

1) D.R. HORTON is down 13%
2) ULTRA CLEAN HOLDINGS is down 23%
3) CROCS is down 43%
4) QUIDEL is down 47%
5) CO-DIAGNOSTICS is down 59%
6) FULGENT GENETICS is down 11%

My Portfolio is 20% in cash so I can take advantage when a particular stock is down for no good reason.

All the above are small holdings, and therefore I am able to easily lower the % loss by adding to my holdings, and hoping that once the market recovers, I can sell them for a smaller loss.

Which of the above would you add, and your reasons why ?

Which of the above would you sell, and the reasons why ?

Thank You.

Q: I am looking at US Healthcare (with the exception of WELL), how would you rank these companies in when considering balance sheet, management, growth potential, and MOAT?

Thanks,

Q: With apologies to the members who do not appreciate US content, I am hopeful to get your thoughts on Quidel. How would you assess its potential for capital appreciation in the next year or two? There is a Covid angle which is almost a reason not to buy in my opinion (it has to end right?) but other business opportunities as well. Thoughts on whether to buy, sell or hold and why if you can please.

Q: Is Quidel worth owning on its merits -- quite apart from the diagnostic testing that's given it an incredible pop in the last month? As a health care play, would you prefer this one over Teladoc, (TDOC) for instance. I realize they are not "exactly equivalent" in terms of their intrinsic businesses, but I am looking for solid growth story in the health field.
