Q: If we believe all we are hearing there could be a lot of government spending on Infrostructure both in Canada and the US. With this in mind how would you rate the above companies for growth in the next 2 - 3 yrs? Which would be benefitting most from US expenditure? Any others you would prefer?

Q: Google is said to have a very wide moat with it being a leader in search. But we all know what happens in tech -- when people reach the top there is no more room to grow or something disrupts that moat and it comes crashing down. How secure is Google and CSU and Shopify of them not being disrupted by new, nimble startups?

Q: Hi folks,I am perplexed by trading of Amaya,currently in $19's when the $24 takeover offer seems like a slam dunk. Am I missing something?? I have 400 shares at $20.20,held thru thick & thin and don't understand why stock would not be trading at or near $24 range.Why shouldn't I buy more in $19's and tender to $24 offer,thanks for clarifying situation for me,jb

Q: Hi 5i
I have encountered some Financial pundits who say that Good Will on a company's books would be more transparent if it was called "an accounting plug".
Where is this factor declared in Financials? Do KXS and SIS have Goodwill on their Books? Does 5i consider that Good Will is a valid descriptor in some circumstances

I don't ask many questions but I appreciate the service you provide

Q: these marijuana stocks have gone nuts-- a complete bubble. aphria a venture stock traded between 7.79 and 5.40 this morning, now 6.90. i sold all of mine around 7.10.
then traded it a few more times between 5.75 and 6.75.
it is insanity. i am completely out now. comments. dave

Q: I've been nibbling away at TV for a while and it has rewarded me nicely. On seeing their latest Q, along with the New Brunswick mine coming into production, I was a little surprised to see the stock sink a little. Q: We are retired & reasonably comfortable. I have cleaned out several non-performing stocks in a RIF & now hold a full position in the following: FTS, AQN, EIF, KXS, ENG, & IPL.
