Q: Can I please have your thoughts and analysis on Heico's recently announced earnings. It is trading lower today. I have owned a small position for a few years and have done well. Is this a buying opporunity or a time to get out. Any thoughts that you might have would be appreciated. Thank You.

Q: Hello,
I am considering investing in PBH as it checks off the right boxes and it is one of your favorites.
However, looking at other similar co's MTY & MFI they seem to offer similar dividends and growth, tgey are both also trading close to the same lower range as PBH.
Could you provide insight on why these are lagging the food retailers who are trading at highs.
Thank you

Q: I am a conservative income oriented investor and currently interested in investments that are USD denominated, pay a good dividend, provide some growth and most importantly will benefit from a reduction in the USD, for example the Ishares International Select Dividend ETF (IDV).
Based on my criterial can you comment on IDV specifically and provide alternatives?
Many Thanks for all your help

Q: Do you credit the notion that buying shares in FNV includes a "free option" given the potential reopening of the Cobre Panama mine sometime in the future perhaps under a different government? Considering that for FNV, Cobre Panama was its largest royalty asset at about US$2-billion in net asset value and 22 per cent of revenue, do you believe that patient investors are offered a compelling risk/reward scenario?
Thanks as always for your expertise.

Q: This is not a question, but a comment related to the question about CDR's. I bought the AMD CDR. Just before AMD's earnings, I tried to put a stop limit on my holding, and was told by the bank (RBC) that stop limits are not possible for CDR's, so that may be one other disadvantage.
Q: I seem to recall a question re BMO recently where you were asked for an attractive entry price. You suggested $111 I believe. Well after the earnings release today, we are there. Time to enter?
Q: What do you think about these two at current prices for a new position?
Q: Chris stated on August 28 that ENB is down 1% after 10 years but its garph on 5i site shows a +75% increase. Maybe because you are taking in consideration the yield on a ten ys period? Thks
Q: Dear 5i,
TD Direct Investing has recently introduced partial share trading.
Should an investor be concerned with getting fair market value when the trade is finally executed? Would you see any issues if one wanted to trade a popular high price stock like CSU (maybe 0.5 to 1.5 shares)?

Q: Enbridge is down 1% over the last ten years. Good yield but do you think it has much prospect of growing again? How do you think of the story here?
Q: Hello, There was a NR today stating that Hammond Power will be increasing its Planned Capex by $20 mln, over 2024 and 2025, to support current capacity bottlenecks for its custom power transformers portfolio resulting in significant addition to its revenue capacity. Is this significant ?
Does it further solidify company's position as a dominant supplier in speciality transformers segment of the market ? And, given the recent volatility in the stock, how should investors be positioned for next 3-5 years ?
Thank You

Q: I am planning to sell a portion of my portfolio either now or in mid-September. I know September often tends to be a down month for the market. But this September, there will almost certainly be rate cuts in the US...and possibly in Canada, as well. If you were me, would you wait until September to sell...or would you be more inclined to sell now?

Toronto-Dominion Bank (The) Non-Cumulative Fixed Rate Class A First Preferred Shares Series 11 (TD.PF.F $25.98)
-
Enbridge Inc. cumulative redeemable preference shares Series 13 (ENB.PF.E $21.43)
