Q: Hi, 5I
What type of value does dhx represents at $6.51.
I have no clue how to judge this company and the stock went all the way down to $6 sometimes ago.
Is book value, peer valuation, PE/G or any other valuation that will direct a sense for this stock?
thanks for helping.
Claude
Q: I know this is way out of your field of expertise, Singapore no less, but I'm trying to diversify internationally and it's very hard to find info on Jardine Matheson (JMHLY for the ADR). Do you have any info about the company on your Bloomberg terminal? Thanks for whatever assistance you can provide.

Q: I have been planning to by Onex for a while and finally have some cash to do so, however, I noticed that it recently went up from 75$ to 81$. Is it too late to buy? I would start with about 1/3 of a position.
Q: I hold these 3 plus XLV in the health care portion of my portfolio. Not adverse to risk but I am wondering whether CXR is worth the grief. Is there a case for focussing on the others, or does the risk/reward of CXR make it worthwhile holding?
Q: Are you aware of cases where guest portfolio managers on BNN got caught recommending stocks that the firm/themselves are shorting? It's hard to believe it's not happenning. My best example is Bruce Campbell of StoneCastle. His past picks are absolutely horrible (-43%, 93%, -57%, -88%, -90%, -70%, -51%). Are regulators actively looking out for manipulation through recommendations on BNN? I really hope so. I use this site to review past picks. Q: Hello, Would you advise / recommend topping up BAD and BOS to a full position each (from a less than half position now) or would you recommend some other more promising names( from BE model portfolio). Thanks
Q: I hold Cal Maine Foods as part of an option writing strategy on US companies. Projected earnings for the company have been lowered significantly and the stock has embarked on a steady downtrend. The forward PE for the company is about 26 which is very high given the current trend for earnings. Based on these estimates there appears to be little reason to continue holding the shares as further share price weakness seems likely. Is there any redeeming information regarding future growth, potential earnings recovery, the overall industry, etc that would encourage holding rather than selling the shares?
Q: Hi 5i, how would you be approaching the Brexit vote from a portfolio perspective? I have a few names that are very exposed to the GBP/USD exchange rate (i.e. CXR, IT and ESL). Should I be taking some off the table prior to this vote or is it too late and most of the fear is baked in to current prices? In your opinion what direction do you see the GBP going if there is indeed a Brexit? I've heard arguments both ways on long and short term. Thanks again.
Q: Hi Everyone,
Thank you for great service. My question if for Peter. If you have to own one stock today out of all stocks that you cover which stock would you pick? Thank you
Allan
Q: Hi, further to my previous question, I was told by BMO investorline that for those who did not choose prior to closing of the deal will have to wait 2 or more weeks for sso to finalize on the share exchange or cash based on majority vote. I am not sure how much would that be? Would appreciate your clarification .Thanks.
Q: Hello, I have been reading your comments on Savaria Corp with interset, for a few months and decided to initiate a small position this week. Companies supporting aging demographics should continue to do well, but SIS is still fairly small cap and valuation appears rich. Stock also had a decent run lately, so it could tread water for a while. I would rather wait a few more quarters, before adding at today's price. What are your thoughts ? Thanks
Q: This Co. has excellent EPS grwth on TTM basis, almost 25% ROE, low debt & P.R.. Can you tell me more about their customers and whether this is a good long-term buy right now: dividend grwth & have they bought any co. lately. I need to diversify with an industrial - have none right now.
Q: Sorry - I was looking for an CDN or USA ETF not individual stock
: Is there a USA or CDN ETF that your team would recommend similar to CSH.UN, SIA or SIS. Is there any news why SIS is selling off with high volume.
5i Research Answer:
In the US, three to look at are SNH, HCN and LTC
Ventas VTR is also interesting, owning seniors' housing and medical office buildings.
There is no news on SIS, but energy/metals have been very strong and there might be some rotation occurring this week.
Q: Perusing today's, June 7/16 , Globe and Mail Investor Data Tables I noticed a curious stock mentioned-ACE Aviation Holdings. It is priced at .57 cents and pays an almost 65% div. I tried to investigate further but any info I found was not clear to this tyro. Please, what do you see when you delve into your sources?
