Q: AbraSilver has recently closed a bought deal financing at $7.10 with Kinross as one of the buyers to finance its advancement of Diablillos in Argentina. This seems to be a large project so with shares now at $6.29 would you be a buyer? Please comment also on the PAAS outlook.

Q: There appears to be a growing trend toward the building of small nuclear reactors for energy. It seems ARE and ATRL are best positioned in the segment. ARE just announced a project in the US and both are involved in the building of the reactors PM Carney announced. I know you like STN and WSP. I have a good position in WSP and have done well with the stock but I am noy sure if it is involved in this sector. Your thoughts please.
Q: Would you buy into this frenzy or wait? Thanks Larry

Q: I am all equities in my RSP and RIF portfolio. Although a solid blue chip list of Cdn, US, some international, I would like to mitigate risk by adding one or two bond etf's (cdn dollar). These can be Canadian bonds or a combination NA and global. Please offer one or two...and are we looking at shorter duration or longer in light of current interest rate environment/future outlook. Ideally 4%+ yield
Q: Hi Folks,
Realizing stock weighings are a personal decision - GOOG is now 11% of my total portfolio. I would like to bring it down to 7% or so ( may I ask what you have it at in your 5i portfolio). I am thinking of buying META. May I have your opinion as to whether this would be prudent at this time with stocks at all time highs or should I continue to let GOOG ride for now?
Thanks

Q: Could I have your top 5 favored Canadian companies the achieve the following criteria. A combination of price momentum, positive earnings revisions and attractive valuations.

Q: I am trying to understand the attractiveness of QSR as an investment, having already executed a sell decision...owners of Burger King; Tim Hortons; Popeyes; Firehouse Subs; Carrols Restaurant Group. I never found their "story" very compelling, yet was talked into it a number of years ago by an advisor.
They've never really performed in my view other than provide a modest dividend. Mr. Doyle is nearing the end of his second year leading a turnaround, yet it seems to me not much is turning around. I find it equally puzzling that this stock remains on a lot of recommendation lists and has for years.
I would like your perspective on the stock, its performance to date and where you see it headed over the next 3-5 years.
Thanks as always,
Dave

Q: Good Day,
Michael asked a question on Oct 27 re: bubbles, and the financial post article you referenced as the answer is behind a paywall.
Could you discuss some of your thoughts on what position you see the markets in with respect to a bubble? I'm not sure if it's just that I've positioned myself (with 5i and the 5i forums' help) so well to capitalize on this years themes, but watching my investment accounts' total value rise like it has seems unsustainable.
Is gold flying because many are thinking the same? Is it a good time to position for a correction/bear/recession?
Would "positioning defensively" consist of moving weighting to the income portfolio names (if it were you)? Are there any other names you would add to (Non O&G/Financial, I'm flush there)?
Thanks for helping us all navigate this wild ride!
James

Q: Is there any way for the average investor, me, to have access to AI tools to help or make investments? Every thing I read now is "Learn how to use AI"

Q: I read your recent material on KNSL. I have been an owner for quite sometime and watched it bounce up and down between $420 and $500 in the past year. The reaction to earnings was surprising to me and I intend to add more. Please share your perspective on earnings and what you might expect to happen with the company over the next quarter or two. Is accumulating here sensible and do you still like it? A 12 month price target if not too much to ask would be great as well.

Q: With major banks like JPMorgan now planning to offer crypto-collateralized loans and expand into digital-asset services, I’m wondering how this might affect Galaxy Digital’s competitive moat. Could the entry of large, well-capitalized banks put pressure on Galaxy’s market share or margins, especially in institutional lending and trading? At the same time, what advantages does Galaxy still hold that could help it maintain its position as a leading “crypto bank”? In other words, as more traditional financial institutions begin offering similar products, why would institutional clients or investors continue choosing Galaxy over a major bank?
Q: Peter; ZOND did a presentation on Oct. 20 in the US. Did you see any news coming out of the meeting? Thanks.
