Q: Calavo Growers - bit of an obscure name but as a U.S. fresh foods provider (mainly avocados) with a good growth rate for sales, earnings and dividends, a good balance sheet and insiders owning over 10% I was wondering whether you'd have an opinion on this one. Thanks for your help!

Q: I have been following CSO due their ownership and met coal. I have heard some suggest that part of Teck's stock performance has been due to improving out look for met coal. What do you see as the prospects for CSO?

Q: A question about using currency ETFs to play an appreciation or depreciation of the Can. dollar against the U.S. dollar confused me. Would I not do better just holding the currency I thought would be stronger. Doesn't either ETF come with fees I could avoid by just holding the respective currency?

Q: I am sitting on a fair amount of cash I'm a little nervous about deploying until after the correction/election. I was thinking of putting it into mdvn which has about a 65cent increase when Pfizer closes. Do you think this is a safe strategy. When do you think it will close. Q: I have been watching PBH for awhile and was going to purchase then it starting breaking higher again. Is it okay to star to pick away it at this level. It has had a good run and I wonder if I should wait for a pull back as the fall usually has times of volatility or buy some now and add on market weakness.

Q: I need to increase my weighting in the "Technology" space and currently own equal weightings of AVO, MDA, OTC, SYZ and WSP. With $50K to spend, would you buy a new company (I am thinking DH Corp or whatever div paying company you recommend) OR would you just increase your stake in one or more of these currently owned companies. I know you have WSP and DH as "Industrials" but can it not be argued that they are "Tech"?

Q: I am trying to balance out my portfolio sector weightings and am having trouble classifying where these 3 companies should go. I have all 3 of them as "Manufacturing and/or Industrial" whereas you have BOS and MG as "Consumer Cyclicals" and BDI as "Energy". Can it be argued that these are Industrials or should I just stick with your sector classifications?
